@@puresoul7293 That's not not the case anymore, it was true at some point around 2012 or so but Mark Cuban actually shut that down once he larned about the equity/royalty clause that people on the show had to sign to get on and threatened that he wouldn't come back for another season if ABC demanded equity since it's not fair to the entrepreneurs and would cheapen the show

They have customers now, to reduce expensive adspend they should tap into email marketing to build loyalty, brand awareness and customer retention! Email marketing alone should pump monthly sales by 30% for a product like that, with $0 adspend!

I see many problems my humble opinion : 1 the margin is not that grate as they present it thats why the are not making no money the make 50% retail and 75% on DTC and they never actualy said were most of the sales come from if most of the sales are DTC then its a good margin if most of the sales come in retail with a 50% margin there is no room for a royalty or a shark. Cause then shping cost comes in costumer acquisition comes comes in the basicly end up with a 25 % margin if a shark gets in they will get deluted and they knew that thats why the just came for advertising not for any deal
