Its rare for elephant seal male to meet his own pup (bc IT is likely that female was mating with other Bull) and btw beach masters aren't fathers of most pups in colony wich is interesting (i am writing this as a fun fact)

I always find these relationships in animals where the males are so aggressive to the point of having to force themselves on females with no care for the young to be very frustrating. This is actually first time seeing a maternal side from a male elephant seal.
