Watching this would make you think that this was great system. This video is great and I can put it on and just go do about anything. It's the SegaCD that was garbage. I tried liking it back in the day but I wouldn't waste the disk space to emulate this thing. I do like what you have done. Your videos are well put together and and labeled. Kudos.
@drunkensailor1128 жыл бұрын
sega cd was and is an awesome system/ most underrated console I've ever owned
@nimbylive8 жыл бұрын
I would counter the Dreamcast as being underrated. I get what the SegaCD was trying to do, but the bad videos put into games just could not make them good for me. There were a handful of good games, but I still want to stick my original argument that most were garbage. I tried to like the console. I even beat sewershark back in the day. I will give you Sonic CD is fun and the CD gave it the best soundtrack of its day.
@drunkensailor1128 жыл бұрын
nimbylive Dark Wizard, Snatcher, Lunar Eternal Blue, Lunar Silver star, Popful Mail, Ecco the Dolphin, Ecco Tides of Time, Sonic CD, Dune, Third World War, Amazing Spiderman vs Kingpin, Final Fight CD, Pitfal, Keio Flying Squadron, Flashback, Heart of the Alien, Shining Force CD, Lords of Thunder, Robo Aleste, Monkey Island, Zak Mckracken, Terminator, Vay, Mickey Mania and if I want I could go on. That is hardly a handful of good games. All of these games are easily between 8/10 - 10/10
@nimbylive8 жыл бұрын
Lunar was more fun on other systems, Ecco was the same game from genesis. Flashback and heart of the alien were marginally better that Genesis/SNES counterparts. Lords of Thunder was better on Turbo Graphx cd. Snatcher, I will give you, that game was great. I never played Vay, Dune, or Third World War so they may be very good. This list does still remind me of what happened. The best games for this system were rehashes of games from the 16 bit area and marginally to not that much better (short of a very small handful of games).
@drunkensailor1128 жыл бұрын
nimbylive the lunar games definitely weren't better on other systems. at least not eternal blue. also on sega cd they can be played in english unlike on other systems
