I just quick spliced the led lights to the low beams since I have daytime running lights and didn't want the halo lights during the day....and quick spliced the halo wires to the running lights since they are off during the day....no need to have volt meter hope this helps!

I know this was 5 years ago, but I just got a set of headlights like this so I might as well ask. Did you use a CCFL converter at all for that or was it really as easy as connecting those wires like you said above??

If you are worried about cutting into OEM wires I'd imagine buying a headlight socket extension harness wouldn't be a bad route to do the splicing on

I have 2010 GMC sierra. Would I remove the DRL fuse so that only the LED and HALO are on during the day?

This video leaves me with 1 big question: when you use the quick connect and connect the red and white it looks to have a white wire coming out of the other side of quick connect which is needed to connect this to the parking lights....is this wire a seperate wire or part of the 2 white wires you splice into the quick connect just made one white connect back up on one of the white wires.....the same for the black wires..that is what has me puzzled.

are the quick connects being used all 16-14 1/4 size ? I assume they are as they are blue and usually color coded to size. just wondering as and the wire gage of the red and black halo wires are much smaller in gage size from the ticker white and black led gage size it would not split the wire to much while it splits into it or would it even catch correctly and be able to close?

What if I dont have white and black wires? I have the black and red, but no white/black...

Black and Red wire are for the HALO's White and Black are for the LED's Black - Ground White - Positive Red - Positive

When I hook only to the battery to check the lights only thing come on is the LED and no Halo. Do the connectors have to be connected to the Halos when checking with battery? My battery is in the trunk and is to far to check with connectors on. HELP PLEASE... ANYBODY

They don't need to be replaced, it's rare they ever burn out. They'll outlive the car.

On my lights for my 2002 civic, there is no white wires at all. Where do I connect the black and red wire to?

Black is always ground and any other color on the lights will be power.

my halos dont have black/red they have white/red. So when I go to splice my halo wires (white/red) to my LED wires (black/white), would I connect red to white and white to black? Just doesn't seem right connecting the white halo wire to the black LED wire.

On my Spyder halo headlight the turn signal/running light goes from the back of the fixture to the front corner leaving a amber two wired bulb in the rear with a two wire lead that ends at a gray connection. Now I can not find the matching plug for this bulb and wonder if it can be connected to the running light wires at the halo and led bulbs connection.

They're directions suck they don't even give you directions for the type of headlight they send you

I’m dealing with the same problem. The directions don’t match and the only black and white wires run back into the headlight and don’t hang out like in the video. Very confusing

John Padula for real!!! Especially on the instructions they don’t tell you shit about wiring and that’s the most important part!!!! No one needs to know how to put bulbs in that’s the easiest thing to do

It's become so much easier than this, literally plug in new & done. Most fools have problems because they order what they think are correct lights for their car when there wrong. Use vin to order your parts. It's not this hard at all. Literally plug into existing plug once you removed old headlights.
