Being the youngest of 8, I listened to, loved, and learned this as a 2nd grader (1966-67 school year). This is the ONLY version I will listen to. I had only once heard this extended version. The 45 we had did not include all of these. I love it and appreciate whoever posted this.

I've been searching for this song forever. I'd started to believe that it was a figment of my 12 year olds imagination. Finally, 52 years later, at the age of 64, I found it was an actual song. I love it. Thank u KZbin and Spyder Turner.

WOWWWW! I don't like saying "ME TOO" but yes, ME TOO! I've looked for this for decades and never could find it. I had it on 45 rpm decades ago, but it disappeared...it's one of THE GREATEST RECORDS OF ALL TIME, and like you, I've often wondered if I was just imagining it. Thanks so much to all who made it possible for me to be so happy tonight, listening to this great piece of music history.

I never thought i would hear this again. It sounds as good as i remember it. Such talent. Best Motown song ever. Spyder Turner was full of talent. I can't think of any other songs by him. This sure didn't get the recognition it deserved but many of us remember it well and love it still.

Branden....if he reads this, if there was any doubt before, there won't be any now. As a parent, nothing makes me happier than knowing my children love me. I hope it's true for all parents. If he doesn't say it much, i'm sure he loves you as much as you love him. My father never once told me he loved me, but i know he did, it showed on his face when he looked at me.
