Great review, very thorough. I loved my PM2, it was just the standard S-30V blade, but a great working knife. As my collection of knives grew, I gave my PM2 to a good friend. Now even though I've got other very capable knives, I really miss my old PM2. I think this video was the push I needed to order another one haha. Thanks!

I love my pm2 with s35. I even gave one to my buddy,he is a farmer and know how they treat their stuff,didnt think twice about it. Between my pm2,940 and my sebenza the pm2 is my fav edc knife

PM2 with CPM S30V, Digital Camo scales dyed blue. Love this knife, does everything I want it to do.

I've got two. An S110V and a black-coated DLC S30V with digi-camo scales. Personally, the Paramilitary 2 is my favorite pocketknife of all time. Weird considering that about half a year ago, I didn't really care for them. That started to change when I bought my first Spyderco last September (2021), a Para 3. The next week, I ordered my S110V Paramilitary 2 online and when I finally got it, I realized how wrong I had been. It is the best pocketknife ever to me personally.

Great review! I recently got my first PM2 after a giving into the hype. Got the BladeOps Emerson wave version. It’s not a full flat grind blade but it’s a hefty blade. It’s definitely something different. I put on some Ripp’s Garage Tech micro hex scales on it and changes the look entirely. The PM2 is very customizable and I can see why so many people have one.

Your very good at this. I have a standard model. S45vn, satin blade, black G10. I think it’s one of the very best knives. I have never experienced theamount of control and leverage while cutting it offers in anything else I’ve used. It is very balanced. I had a Para 3 LW prior, it doesn’t compare. It cuts like most knives, blade heavy. Para 3 LW is super fidget-able and conveniently sized but the PM2 is just perfection in my hand.

The con about not being a current design, is it more a fashion thing or you mean for practical reasons there are more modern better knives in the same price range and is a mid sized edc?

PM2 s45vn Diamond Arc scale. My first PM2 and spyderco as it is. Later coupled with PM2 s90v OD scale. Now, considering to get P3 s45vn also with Diamond Arc scale.

Currently I have a DLT exclusive in 20CV, black blade and hardware, tan scales and I have the blurple one in S110V. I'm considering grabbing one in S45VN now too.

I have a OD Green DLT exclusive Para 2 in S90V. Just got it and so far I really love it. How bout reviewing a Super Freek? Just got one of those and I am surprised how much I love it.

I own the Para 2 sprint run. Love it easy to sharpen and holds a edge well.....S35vn steel. Good video.

I have a friend who's been into knives for a while. When I told him I was looking at knives he sent me a PM2 to carry and see how I liked it as it is his favorite knife. For me it is larger than I prefer in many ways but in use it is great. The options in scales and steels is pretty great if that is your thing. It has a huge following so lots of them made in comparison to other models I'm sure. It is a bit higher priced than I love to be. I have some preferences I'd like to see it in personally that are either too expensive now or hard to find.... It's a great model but not yet my favorite with all else out there

It can be a bit large. I think the Para3 is the sweet spot for me.

I bought the Para 3 just because I think PM2 is too big for a city use. I’d love to have a PM2 though. Maybe I will buy one soon. What would you recommend? Stick with Para 3 or go for a PM2? As always, great review!!!

I love them both. I go back and forth, but probably prefer the feel of the PM2. My current favorite is the K390 PM2.
