Playing this as a kid will forever hold a special place in my heart. I was 9 years old when Spyro came out. Couldn’t have asked for better games as a kid in 1998-1999.

It's close, but this is the "Paradise" sample from Distorted Reality 2. Winter Tundra uses "Luminize" but pitched way down - which is way this slowed down version of Autumn Plains sounds similar. Either way, it's beautiful!

Even if the levels had weaker cohesion with the rest of the world than Spyro 1, the hub worlds have always been nothing but enchanting. Love it.

This soundtrack always makes me feel young and get chills remembering a simpler time of coming home after school booting up the ps1 and using the old box tv and getting lost within the world also reminds me no matter how old we get when we hear this music it will always be good memories

I got done playing final fantasy 2 from 1988, and I'm playing a copy of spyro on my phone, and I cannot, absolutely will not stop admiring how we went from pixalated graphics and staticky pixalated nes music to this in as little as 10 years. The pixalated textures in the 3d graphics of this game are kinda like the last remnants the arcade era... Either that, or im just overthinking things, which I do that when I'm sleep deprived. By the way, this music makes me sleepy.
