Wait till you find out Post Scriptum and Beyond the Wire both reused assets from Squad, such as the vaulting animations. You see developers must recreate everything from scratch or else I'll have nothing to complain about!! 😥

Thanks for this showcase! One thing that would’ve been nice is if each weapon was labeled. I really like how they’re incorporating the WWI weapons from BTW into Squad 44. It’s still authentic to the early war factions and is a easy way to add lots of new content.

The smle mk3 in sq44 sounds like a .22 varmint rifle at the moment. It’s funny because what it actually sounds like is the enfield no.4 sound that’s been in the game since 2018.

Far prefer the aiming in Squad .The sway in Beyond the Wire is MONSTROUS .Also , why did they have to also replicate the HIDEOUS hammer-like grip on the Berthier and the atrocious cylincer spin used on the Colt M1917 and Webley MK.VI ? .

oh so thats where they've came from, I noticed they looked and felt really weird compared to everything else, at least that explains it. For a straight pull, the ross really lacks the rate of fire (and don't know why would they add it in the first place), and the SMLEs could use some rpm nerf after this new griping animation (IMO) Btw, the cylinder spin on the revolvers showl go away NOW
