Each completed relic should have a 50% proc chance meaning that on average you’ll have half of your relics working but have the chance for all or none to proc

Make the relict have a 20% chance to work each vault for each one and add an expertise that increases that chance up to 50% each

I think relics should be like a mix between a trinket and a catalyst where when you get the 5 you can apply to a crystal but like a trinket, it only has a couple of uses (2-5 preferably) before it dies.

Am I the only one picturing Etho as the oldest brother, stress and false as the twin middle children of the family and iskall as the youngest sibling ? You have Etho Stress and False wanting to connect via a game more with iskall yet they find themselves actually liking the whole thing to a point that Etho gets competitive, False the most chill of them is getting actively involved and Stress joining the funny competition of the boys ! (Iskall stomps his older siblings anyways but they all enjoy themselves a lot) Thats the vibe I get from hearing all of you playing together, synergy, cooperation if the competition asks for it and most importantly puns and jokes thrown left and right ! What an amazing gang !

Idea for Relics: When you have built a relic on a pedestal, it makes a copy of that relic pedestal appear in the vaults (farly rarely, so that you can't always find it). Activating the pedestal in the vault gives you that 30 seconds extra time, and each relic can do this only once per vault. I don't know if that's starting to make the vaults a bit too bloated with stuff to find, but if it doesn't feel like that, I think this would be a nice way of making them less automatic, and more about being good at spotting them, choosing how to play to maximize your chances of finding them, and of course being lucky. The feeling of finding one as you are running out of time would be so great. Maybe give them some completely unique property as well, like extending the time a current god altar challenge has. That would make them different, and not just discount +1 min pylons.

my personal suggestion for relics would be having relic pedestals which apply the time bonus (and pottentially other effects) and you get one free one from quests and after that they are expensive to craft seems balanced and potentially more fun though probably more work...

Speaking about relics, just add more relics but reduce how much they add per relic keeping the total time gaining from all of them the same. This will greatly slow down how often you both complete a set and how much time you gain at lower levels.

i have an idea for relics, maybe so that for each vault there’s only a certain percentage chance of it activating? so that it won’t outright remove the relics but you won’t get an extra four minutes on each vault, maybe like an average of an extra 1:00-2:00 minutes?

My idea would be to have a full relic set turn into an item that's kind of a mix between a charm and a trinket: it would have uses like a trinket but you would apply it onto a crystal to get more time and each application would drain a use (ofc you can limit the number of times you can apply them to 1 specific crystal) I think it would fit well because it has mechanics that are already existing and doesn t require learning something new plus it puts a restriction on the OPness of the relics where you need to work to get them and you will only benefit from them for a certain number of vaults

What if the relic sets were one time use. After combining the set, it could give you a charm or something that extends time but disappears when you enter a vault with it.

With the relics. Instead of having it be one every 10th vault. Have each of them have a 10% chance to apply on a vault. So yeah you could have a 29 minute run rarely. But not every run. And it doesn’t have the 1 every tenth run problem of being able to predict which one will be longer to use catalysts or specific seals on.

Just an idea im not playing salut hunters currently so if its a bad idea sorry but how about making an artifact that makes scavs easier (you lose one of artifact slots for a little easier time) maybe like gives you more vault time, or lowers the amount of items needed by a percentage something of that sort

Regarding the idea that relics have cooldowns, could you not implement a simple counter that counts each time you enter a vault for the first time, and after it reaches count 10, it applies the relic effect and clears the counter. I have no clue about programming myself, but something like this should definitely work, right?

One idea about the relics. I'm not sure why Iskall dislike relic, but maybe instead of giving extra time, they can give one level of passive abilities (like haste or strength), while remove one max level from those abilities. For example, the max level of haste player can put skill points in will be one last, but by completing the miner set, they get +1 in haste, so the max level will stay the same. This way the extra time can be removed, and player still get stronger with the buff themselves and extra skill points. (Sadly my PC can't handle the mod pack, so this could very much be the worst idea ever. If so, please roast me as hard as you can. )
