I am so addicted to Vault Hunters….just started my second Vault Hunters world because I started on Casual and I wanted to play at a higher level. Plus I just love building my character, tools, and base up in this game. You , Stress, and Etho keep the videos coming. I would have loved to watch all of Ethos play time like yours and Stress

I finally have the time (and mental capacity) to start my own VH playthrough, and got my sugar plum fairy flower in my 2nd vault 😭 Literally was "that's an odd shape for a flower.. I want it" and when I picked it I instantly felt so bad cus Stress 😢

been thinking about this, first person action rpg youre build. I think you should prioritise getting some different weapons in to diversify your vault running experience a bit more. I know axes dont seem to fit a niche as they are, but if you think of a weapon as an attack profile you could diversify play considerably by doing something akin to the following: --- Sword: As is, horizontal oriented 'swipe' in front Axe: Vertical oriented swipe in front, little extra damage to balance the loss of flat level utility, but it rewards fighting on slopes far more(and will scale better if you ever implement flying mobs). I particularly like this because your vaults are so vertical. Spear: pierce in front back three layers. Rewards modifying the terrain into 'lanes' and finding laning points. players start to manipulate ai pathing more. highest damage bow AND/OR 1H crossbow: moves players away from needing a specific skill/ability for ranged attacks. heavily incentivises hit and run rather than tanking through mob waves. rewards faster movement, synergises well with javelins. Reduce Damage --- Changes like the above also necessitate changes to skills like 'Cleave' and 'Javellin'. They may need to be nerfed, or their damage moved away from scaling on player damage. In the long run they start to incentivise different play though, as different tools solve different problems in the vault. Encouraging moment to moment decisions, rather than zen, unthinking bash and loot. Doesnt stop that though, just gives folks options for different play. --- Wouldnt mind seeing more utility from off-hand too. Like, yes its less brain drain having an auto shield, but it incentives different play less than an active tool and it also limited your design space for skills and abilities For ex, you have perks that increase damage in a flat way, and modifiers to increase block 'chance' but you havent explored increasiing the utility of the offhand by expanding on its behaviour(blocking wide or tall, deflecting projectiles rather than absorbing, active abilities like a shockwavey thing etc). Obviously you have prioritised the ideas behind an action rpg for vault hunters, but from a design standpoint its much more interesting seeing where you go when you deviate from those traditions, and the offhand being inactivereally limited your options there and the decision space for the player. So, I would like to see more there rather than less. Dual wield weapons, abilities you cant pick up with perks etc. Would be neat mechanically and give you more space to innovate within the first person space. -Sincerely, an experienced Indie Designer specialising in mechanics and systems

Honestly, magnets should drop in effectiveness based on distance. Won't fix the problem completely, but should give at least _some_ more loot to the person actually looting the stuff in such scenarios.

A nice addition to vault hunters would be a workstation that lets you save skill specs in it so you can switch to different specs for what you want to do. It could use regret orbs for fuel but couls use less orbs than usual.

There should be a table or like crafting bench for regret flasks and you should be able to forget knowledge specialties and with a table you can always craft the ability you want to lose/gain (higher level higher cost to make the flask or rarer the ability the more expensive or both) 😂

Hey Iskall! I don't know if you have plans to add this or something like this yet, but I would love to see a "ball of twine" or "spool of thread" trinket that can show you the way back to your portal, similar to what Theseus did in the Labyrinth. It seems like many players have difficulty meeting up back at the portal, or getting lost if they go off track, or getting turned around because of unclear & inconsistent marking, or whatever, and it would make sense for this relic to run out of uses for each vault as opposed to other trinkets like wings that seem to run out of uses for no lore apparent reason. Anyway, I think it would be useful, it would be balanced as you can find your way back but can't equip a different trinket, and it makes sense from a lore standpoint

HOLY!!! Ok WOW what in Minecraft Earth… how strong is Etho’s magnet?? I think that’s the first time we the viewers can actually see just how ridiculous his magnet is!! There’s just a train of items flying through the air at Etho. -- I wonder how many other viewers think this unfiltered version of Hermits sounds just like them. The way Iskall talks here makes me feel like we are on the same wavelength. Not sure I’ll ever find out for sure or if that’s just some kind of weird coincidence.

i have a question in vh 4th edition when it gets updated to 1.20, will there be support for nvidium? nvidium is really good for nvidia cards, i get like 1000fps on 1.20 with nvidium (nvidium is sodium with nvidia only optimizations) my vh performance hovers around 120-90 fps

scav items decay once you take them out of the vault, that's why you should always empty scav pouches once you've finished a vault, and convert them into soul essence. only the scav items you find in a specific vault can be submitted in that vault's altar.

@@dizzzy1262 yeah, I can run the base game just fine, even some decent mods. But I can’t play VH at all. I think you need a fairly hefty amount of RAM. Give it a shot, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

shouldn't magenet velocity be proportional to the distance of the character? might be a bit more difficult to implement, but worst case scenario you could do it in a certain amount of regions (3 or smth). Cause like, it feel like the magnet is just as strong at the end of its range as it is when its next to you, and I don't think that's how it should work

Just cheat the extractor and gold in. You should have had the extractor well before you hit level 20. Backups are also automatic and you should have multiple of them.

@@Bob_Smith19 The problem wasn't getting the extractor it was that I didn't think the spirit dropped if you did not have the extractor because it fell in a weird spot I found right after I remade all the stuff :(
