Square Body Chevy Seat Upgrade, Bench Seat Swap

Today's how to video will be removing and swapping your factory bench seat and installing something way better and way more comfy, the seat that I install in this video was removed from a dodge 1500, This is not a simple seat swap but with some time and effort it is worth it.

Nice job on fitting the seat. Since the seat belts are anchored in the seat back, I would suggest fabricating rear brackets. Just in case of hard braking or frontal collision, the seat would bend forward, placing you into the steering wheel or a passenger into the dash. Either one would hurt. As I understand, Sammy Davis Jr. unbuckled in his Cadillac died this way, when he hit the bullet shaped horn button, fracturing his upper ribs. You all take care now. True, but im not to worried cause the seats had to past safety with that set up in 2001 the year the dodge was made. great tip though

If the seat belts are integrated into the seat, then your seat belt strength depends on your attachment to the cab.or your welds .
