Louie saved my shoulders in the early 2000's, matt spared me from milage injuries starting in the 2000-teens. The manuals are EXCELLENT!! Big man your looking thinner than ever i am hoping that is your goals and not medical issues from the kidney situation 🙏

Thank you Matt so informative as always! I just love Wenning Warm-Ups, you've made this 60 y.o. look forward to my pre-lift warm ups, I can say I've meandered for 40 years before my main exercises in the session.

Was never on serious gear - just lower protein

People don’t realize that. Serious gear for powerlifting most of the time just ruins it all lol my first cycle I got a 300 pound bench I had been lifting one month so I decided to run more test lol never again

Awesome vid! I Would welcome a chance to see how different folks select work up weights/percentages. Also, your gym soundtrack is on point with the 2 songs I could glean from this clip

Matt the content is great, between types of clip (you sitting talking, and you in the gym), the volume levels change drastically, would it be possible to level them or bring them closer together so I dont need to keep adjusting the volume? Thank you sir!

In the squat you have Simultanious knee flexion/extention and hip flexion /extention. The 3 hamstring muscles crosses the knee joint and the hip joint. Wich means their force production is very limited in a squat. The adductors do work alot, especially in a wide stance squat like this. They can sometimes be confused with the hamstrings.

Squat 4x bodyweight and then you will understand

I've made a lot of changes in my squat like you've stated and WITHIN A MONTH I jumped from 315 to almost 405 with how much it blew up from these small changes. It's nuts my guy, I'm on the cusp of a 405 after 315 being barely done
