I got a kick out of watching you sitting in the seat on that RD6 and making noises like a kid on his daddy's tractor.😂 Looked like you were a having a ball. Those seats look great and I'm sure will bring you many hours of pleasant seat time on your crawlers.

I bet the old timers who used to spend long hours driving Car tractors/ dozens would have loved to had those seats versus what they had back when they were new and over the following decades they were in service. Definitely top notch workmanship went into those seats. I've absolutely no doubt that a couple of decades from now they'll still look as good as they do now or pretty close to it. Hahn seats definitely deserves to get a shout out by you so those of yiur subs who are restoring theirs knows where to get seat sets for theirs.

Squatch, thank you for the courtesy of a reply. Your explanation about the cushions is well understood. BUT, perhaps you could ask the supplier if they could make an "overnight" weather cover for the seat arrangement. I am thinking of your caterpillar at vintage vehicle shows and also leaving a working machine overnight "on field or on-site" ready to start again next morning. Whichever way, there would be some monetary value in it for the supplier.

Seats are important. One might think nah my old seat will work. Well if it is a museum piece or rarely started for a show then probably would do fine. But if your doing work with the machine a good and comfortable seat dose make a difference. Specially for your own back cause a bad seat or seat mounts will put pressure on your body. Also if your seat is redone the wrong way or out of the factory specs your feet or arms might be in a awkward angle from the steering or other instruments you want to reach. Had to fight with that issue myself so talking here from personal experiences.
