Try to borrow hat and clothes from a beekeeper so you can finish the front of the house. I hope you come back so we can see how the backyard will be. It was quite funny with the neighbour - their house and matching car colour. 😀

What a pretty vintage neighborhood. You KNOW that back in day all these houses had flowerbeds filled with hollyhocks, daisies, clematis, roses, peonies, marigolds, salvia, and snapdragons, I can just imagine it. Now everyone’s yard is easy-care. I’m okay with just lawn and bushes, but I sure miss the flowers!

I saw Elephant Ears in that area by the porch that he didn't mess with. Maybe there were also flowers there before poison ivy and wasps took over. I would have taken the chair off the porch so the squatters have nowhere to sit. I could tell that the window coverings were sheets. (P.S. I hated the bright blue with bright green steps/porch house next door. Nice house but didn't like the colors and no trees.)

I like the way you don't throw the edgings on the lawn but takes them with you. Good job as always.
@TKLawns2 ай бұрын
I try to pick them up when I can!
@hbic32 ай бұрын
There's a reason why they do put the edgings back into the lawn. Clippings left in the grass instead of bagged, help to feed the lawn. When you throw the edgings into the grass, you can just mow/mulch them and not have to bag. This is why edging is done first. The reason you wouldn't throw them into the grass and mow/mulch them over is that the edgings are weeds. Some municipalities won't pick up bagged yard clippings it's more than one bag, bagged in black bags, bags outside of bins, or placed at the curb more than 12 hours before trash pickup. Some neighbors don't like the look of trash bags, piles of branches, sitting on the curb for several days. They call and complain, the property owner gets fined for something they didn't do, and in most cases like this, didn't even know happened. So, when you watch other channels and wonder they they aren't bagging, and putting clippings back into the lawn from edging, these are the reasons.

Are you writing about the Michigan guy named Stockman??? He only does the tree burning when a house has a fire pit surrounded by Rocks. Not all places have debris pick-up and they have to pay to take it to a recycling center. He's my favorite one of my lawn people. I just get sick of seeing all of them do abandoned properties. I prefer to see real people in need helped. Seems the neighborhood could keep an abandoned house mowed if they don't want an eyesore.

In your intro, you were making nice cleanup choices and I looked to the side and saw a very groomed house and thought, "What a contrast for them." Much appreciated you are reviving this home. That was kind someone sent a mini-saw. People have been pretty appreciative on using them. 9:17, a whole section already bringing the place up to neighborhood standards. Nice. Enjoyed the video. Section by section you added progress until it began to be the dignified home originally intended.
