I had the same problem with my right glute, less mass and very low activation. I tried the suitcase deadlift Squat University recommended and it has been GREAT for my lagging glute, I feel it has more mass than before and also activates more during movements engaging the glute Highly recommend doing suitcase deadlifts right after this stretch for maximum benefit

How did they measure her "glute activation"? EMG electrodes? Load cells? Accelerometers? For a channel that calls itself "Squat University" these guys are unscientific and gimmicky as hell. I guess she "felt" her glutes activate more, before that she was extending her hip using telekinesis.

Do you have a comprehensive video on why hip flexor muscles are such culprits in negatively impacting mobility, range of motion, and strength? I can be stretching glutes and hams, but as soon as I do butterfly stretch, all my gains go to zero and my hip flexors are ultra stiff.

Good lift! Here is a tip! She needs to work on her form a bit. When coming out of the hole your ass should squat into the lift while the head looks up almost to the ceiling, forming the “head up ass down” that is so crucial in both squats and deadlifts. If she did there would be no pause in her movement, and their realty shouldn’t be no matter the weight. 👍😀

@@dianner5148 and this video isn’t about walking 💀 it’s very common to feel weak activation in a muscle during heavy lifting due to instability or muscle tightness. Obviously the muscle isn’t a light switch. You’re taking the saying too serious. To lifters it can feel as the muscle isn’t awake or on or not activating or poor mind muscle connection. Whatever you want to call it. Why slander the creator of these videos as he constantly is producing videos that help people?
