Thanks for making the video. But I am totally NON-mechanically savvy and I don't have any tools. Would it be worthwhile to just try to clean everything without removing anything? Could I just spray the alcohol on to the calipers and brakes, then try to just clean it off with a clean cloth. Or....where do you live? Would you like a job? I have not noticed any problem with the brakes. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Yes, you can clean the disk and pads without removing, you just may need some more passes to get everything clean.

It works great, but I do have to move the arms on the stand as far inward as possible to catch the trike frame in a good spot. I also put rubber hose pieces on the stand at the tips to avoid damaging the trike's paint.

Do you have to dilute the alcohol 50/50 or can you use 100% alcohol in the bottle?

100% is fine just keep it away from painted surfaces.

Hi quick question my back break I can’t get it to lock up can I put isopropyl alcohol directly in the caliber when the pad are in there or could that damage it

Put the alcohol on a rag and wipe down the rotor. You may have to repeat the cleaning several times or remove the pads to clean both pads and disk thoroughly.

Sure! I use a 50% alcohol solution.

Oh yes! The rear brake disk arrived full of oil and after cleaning it the first time, the brakes were still VERY weak. Cleaning the disk a second time and additionally cleaning the pads made them work great!
