Oh, you think that’s bad??? Try attending a New Year’s Concert where Strauss’s celebratory Radetzky March was played to traditionally end the concert! The conductor is literally conducting the audience with his baton, and they’re still clapping to some strange rhythm in their heads that is completely out of sync with the orchestra, incapable and incompetent as they are. Of course, I couldn’t clap to the right beat, otherwise I’d look like a fool, so I just put my hands in my trouser pockets and tried to block out all of those idiots. Damn Americans…
