This was the episode that hooked me. It was such a great way of revealing character backstories/motives without a flashback gimmick. It's kind of funny, because most people I talk to say something like "eh, Ep 2 is boring, but just push through it". These people are wrong about how they ingest media.

It's always that vote that leaves EVERYONE surprised(because it utterly betrays their expectations on how they thought was gonna happen) and the events that happen afterwards that tend to officially hook a large majority of people into the series including the ones who got into the series looking for something to dismiss the hype. Now that you've seen it you know you're intrigued and wanna continue reacting. Don't try to fight it.😁

I really hope you continue the series. Its honestly one of my favourite series ever and I don't feel like I'll ever tire of it. I always love your reactions too. Actually Sangwoo was going to commit suicide. Outside of the bath, he was burning what I believe is some sort of coal that releases a lot of carbon monoxide and it's a common suicide method in Korea (I think it's got something to do with a religious belief, but I could be totally wrong about that)

I've only known about you and your channel for like 2 weeks and you're already my favorite. I love your commentary becauce you really seem to understand and apprieciate why this episode is so good and important even though it's a more like slow backstory episode with less action compared to other episodes. Many people seem to not care and like episodes like this one (i assume most people LOVED this episode, but i know some didn't), but it's just so important to have backstory, otherwise there'd be so many holes in the storyline. I also love that you acknowledge the camera shots, music etc. because i'm sure the people behind the episode really made an effort into making these shots as good as possible!

that scene where the lawyer guy was in the bath, if u look carefully you’ll see smoke and that’s actually a “common”way of suicide in korea where u let butane gas spread in a closed area so that scene was actually an attempt of suicide…
