Rapala imposters will work great at the entrance of Patterson river for pinkies on 1/8 and further down for bream rigging lighter 1/16 and higher.

Thanks !! Ive never caught squid of any piers around Williamstown. Best spots to get them land based are St Leonards, Mt Martha, Blairgwore and Flinders

Hey Allan, I have a quick question. Me and my mate really want to go fishing Wednesday since we have a day off school but it is very windy. Do you have any recommendations on where to fish and how to fish.

Most land based fishing will be fine, just make sure you have the wind behind you for casting distance. The big stonker trout will be released very soon, not sure if its this week but that would be a great option. Otherwise many piers on that side f town fishing well for pinkies and squid

Launched at Geelong and did a lot of ks that day, Clifton, St Leonards, Geelong, Indented heads, Avalon. Just kept moving and following the fish.

Hey Alan awesome video as always. Sorry to be a pest but what do you think would be better suited to a 2610ml expride, a vanford or a stradic because i have seen you use both and was wondering why you where switching between them. Thanks man🤙

On the show I'm always mixing up the rod/reels/soft plastics etc just so were keeping content fresh and im continually getting exposure to different products. When it comes to Vanford vs Stradic it will come down to personal preference but there are some key differences. The Vanford is significantly lighter but the Stradic is more durable. Personally I would go one of the New Vanford FAs 2500 to pair with a 2610ml as the weight balances perfectly and they astatically also look really nice together.

You will have a good chance at picking up the existing Vanfords for a bargain price as most tackle stores are trying to clear them out to make room for the new model which hit shelves this week. My current combo is the 2610ml expride and current vanford which is great, i might have some Vanfords and Stradics to sell over the coming weeks/months
