The weed story happened to me and my husband. He was starting chemo and was told it would help. His first time trying edibles. I decided to join him to support. We also broke the golden rule. He ate the whole piece of cake and I drank the whole juice. We were up all night and just a couple of foolish grandparents high as a kite. We needed that laugh after getting some of the worst news of our lives. 2 1/2 cancer free years later we love sharing our marijuana mishap story. 😂🤣

The thing I love about this relationship and why I keep coming back is because even though their relationship is unique, it is also equally just the same as my relationship with my husband. Its a relationship filled with love and respect and I see that was the most prevalent aspect of their relationship. It’s helped my rethink and reframe disability and made me see people as people, no matter their limitations or differences.

My wife and I did 3 rounds of I.V.F. before having our first child. I wouldn't wish that struggle on anyone. It's expensive, it's exhausting, it's busy, it's straining, it's heart breaking (if it doesn't work). You two have a journey ahead of you. I wish you well. If it does work...being a parent is the greatest! My best advice for first time parents: You're going to have 3 choices everyday: 1. Clean house 2. Sleep 3. hobbies/interests (you get to pick 2 everyday). And no matter how hard you try...they're not going to get done to your satisfcation. One, very small critique on video editing. You can save yourself a lot of time by not moving the "junkyard mayhem" around so much. Make it really small and put it in the bottom corner (typically the bottom right) and try and make it slightly translucent (like a watermark). It'll still get seen, because it's in a stationary spot...but it wont be in the way. Everything else in your setup is good.
@peoplewakeup92872 жыл бұрын
Clean house, sleep and hobbies....yeah right!!! More like none of the above will get done. Feed, change, and soothe new baby 24/7 then try to get food in your mouth and a few hours of sleep!

@@peoplewakeup9287 Jesus, you're both wrong! I have a LOT of kids. It's snuggle the baby, kiss the baby, play with the baby. Repeat. Of course you'll feed and change the baby, but if you don't kiss a baby at least 100 times a day, you're doin it wrong! LOL

That story actually had quite a touching and beautiful ending. It’s such an absurd misadventure involving poorly timed drug taking and bizarre random old street clairvoyants in the middle of the night, but the moral of the story- Shane finally coming to terms with how his adoring wife would do anything to care for her husband and losing the fear of that being a burden for her- that is a truly touching lesson that you wrought out of such a seemingly oddball kind of story. Excellent chapter. Bravo!

@@Pler1978 and what makes a judgemental, uneducated, troll like you a better father/mother? Just because you can physically do more doesn't make you a better person or parent. Shane has a lot to offer a child, far more than a lot of people do. Hes a hard working, kind, honest man. That's a better role model by far than a vindictive troll who feels the need to make ablest comments on the Internet for their own validation.

@@dshotzthere’s no use replying to that guy, all his comments on this channel are negative and just completely ignorant. I would suggest reporting for bullying. At least, that’s what I did
