I don't usually dislike hunting videos because I am a hunter but it seems you may need to sight in some more before you go out and shoot them squirrels.

That Marauder in .25 should be making totally clean kills, instant death with very limited movement after the hit. I kind felt bad for a few of those little fellas..

Prosniper06 Bee he’s shooting 60+yds with what looks like a 3-4mph wind from the right but is aiming dead on.. I only saw one clean kill but the rest were wounded. Yes they’re pests but they deserve a clean kill.

Yeah. I love varmint hunting, but my rifles are dialed in tight. I’m not gonna start with my PCP till I’ve got some range time. I know the wind is a major issue, but I’ve taken squirrels out passed 250yrds with my 22 mag cleaner. Had a rabbit scream, I mean like a baby, made my blood go cold. Shot him with my compound bow. Was an excellent shot, just behind the shoulder. Still made me feel bad. I like them to drop, kick once or twice and done. Hate making anything suffer, and I’ve been a hunter for over 35 yrs.

The Benji M'rod .25 is a great rifle for pretty much any animal smaller than a pig. It'll keep your freezer full, if that's what you need. It can be a bit finicky about the ammo, but run 3 or 4 different types & weights through it to find the best performance, & you will not regret having this in your arsenal.

Come to my uncles house in Acton. I just hit 5 in about 8 minutes or so!!! 2 I was able to recover the corpses to compost but judging from the backflips and twitching I have no doubt everyone I hit will be dead by the end of today. Honestly this was the first and second shots I’ve landed that I recovered remains. So yeah those squirrels are an absolute menace. Furthermore the less there are the more food for the others. We have a serious drought and these animals get desperate out in the high desert areas.

I found the Mrod to be a very good gun, with plenty of accuracy and power. But it was too heavy for anything but supported shooting or benchrest. And there was, of course, a sticky bolt action that I never quite could get to mastering.
@brianmincher7168 жыл бұрын
whiff1962 I've got it in the Armada platform which is even heavier. I just treat it as I do a powder burning sniper rifle and always shoot it supported to get around the weight issue, and I feel ya re: that bolt. Mine has a heavier aftermarket spring which makes the bolt pull even tougher. Those things plus shot count/small air reservoir are about my only major issues with an otherwise good gun for the money.

@@brianmincher716 Bolt is sticky. Lube with some paste and you should be good to go.

It looked like the 3rd or 4th squirrel you shot was trying to have a cigarette and you smoked him LOL , Great video and those winds look strong .

Just wondering if you use a range card? I find that plus my range finder is the most important gear in my bag. I use both the .25 grain and the 33 grain, but the 25 grain is the most accuracy pellet in my gun at this time. Accuracy is more important than its ability to buck the wind. Thanks for the upload and happy shooting.

Yes; I have all my ranges written down on my cell phone from 10 yards up to 120. I have so many air guns I can't remember all that info.

fathertimenc - Been a bit busy plus KZbin doesn’t pay gun channels very good anymore like they did a few years ago. Is a loss of $ to shoot air gun videos now unless sponsored.
@fathertimencUSA6 жыл бұрын
Never hardly gotten any money from KZbin and since their new guidelines I don’t get any not enough subscribers but I don’t do it for the money anyway I just like doing it.Have you considered a Patreon page to make up the difference.

Thumbs down. Dude you're excited and bragging about wounding a bunch of animals. Not cool. If you can't get clean kills at 60 yards, stop shooting at 60 yards man. This isn't ethical hunting.

Next time make sure your scope is spot on at 75-100 that way your not just wounding them.
