I have a feral female tabby who I just took in and she is very much the same. I call it "food motivated." She always leaves a little in her bowl because, we think, she seems to worry we won't wake up or be there to feed her the next day, poor girl 😢 I'm slowly teaching her (or trying) telling her it's ok, just finish your food and I'll give you more!

It kind of looks like whatever route they're using to get up to the A/C unit, then to the ledge from there, means most of them can only approach from one direction, and there's no room for them to pass each other. 🙂 Maybe if there were a couple of little ramps so they could approach from both directions? (Although they can be territorial about food, so if two of them came at the bowl from opposite directions, they might just end up fighting each other over it.)

That little baby newbie really was at the front of the queue when they were handing out the cuteness, eh? And Greta! What an appetite! She eats like she’s never seen food before 😂 For an obviously battle hardened alpha, Splitty seemed remarkably relaxed about sharing the sill & the food bowl with the others. I get the impression his little episode with Greta was as much about his interest in seeing how she’d managed to cram so many nuts in her mouth at once as it was seeing her off his turf… He’s got a proper thousand yard stare though - he really wanted to make sure you got the message there! So much cuteness (not to mention lovely Cutie herself!) in one video 🤗♥️🐿 Thanks for sharing so many squirrelly moments 😁
