The SR-71 Rapid Tool Express is really taking off! We get our custom chassis from the Roadster Shop-those guys know a thing or two about quality builds. Engine Master Jon Kaase delivers a one-of-a-kind engine to power our SR-71. This build is coming together fast! With the body back on, Stacey takes you through some of the other mods that are going to tie this build in with the SR-71 Blackbird. Get ready, y'all, we’ve got loads of good stuff on Gearz.

looks awesome, but notably absent is the number of zeros in the cost of that chassis and motor.

Sr-71 equals titanium and lot of it. A dream build for me would be what ever year tacoma with a titanium boxed frame make living in rust belt notta problem. Ultimate tacoma.

Hey Stacey, I.got a 58 Dodge Coronet 4 dr I’m planning on doing a Led Sled treatment on it. Her name is Lucille! I’ve got severe neuropathy in my hands, feet, and lower legs. Which is the reason the car just sits in my garage. I’m a OTR truck driver which also takes time from the car.Im wanting to change it from a 4 dr to a 2 dr post sedan. I use to build and race asphalt street stocks on the oval. But, with my ailments I can’t even do that anymore.

If I could afford to get a chassis like that, I would buy the parts and make it myself. I don't want something somebody else built. I want to build something myself. I'm poor, so I'm gonna put something together from junkyard parts and imagination

The only reason this popped up on my recommended is because I was watching a clip from Iron Man 2008 when Tony is on the first flight for the Mark 2 and he tries to see how high he can go and JARVIS says SR-71 top altitude is 85,000 feet. I googled it right after to see if it was right. Hi Government Agent watching me, long time no see ✌🏼

You'd think Stacy would have incorporated more Titanium into a SR-71 themed build.

@@NoNo-in5tu Turns out we could have sourced the rutile from Australia but choose the Soviet Union because it's better to hide in plain sight according to Real Engineering's latest SR-71/ Titanium video.

Don't forget you need to stuff a 100 gallon tank in your SR-71 just to drive over 100 miles

Why not a C6/Gearvendors combo? Similar to the th400/GV setup you used in Copperhead.

Super-cool projects, interesting content and great ideas. I've always been a fan of Stacey and his show/s.. but to whomever is responsible for the current edit, please.. less of the screen flash of the"Gears" logo and accompanying airgun noise as a segway.. sometimes its as frequent as every minute

A blown 460 is cool. Those heads and that chassis are seriously cool. But it's really ironic all the stuff required to make this thing run what? 11s? I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can do when people start hacking together electric project cars.

No street vehicle needs 1000 hp, semi trucks don't have that much power and they pull tons of weight daily

The introduction episode to this build contained about 20 minutes of irrelevant history, advertising, etc. and about 3 minutes of usable information. We have a life! Get to the point! This episode isn't much better. Great build for all the millionaires on your block but completely unrealistic for the average human being. Oh, and Stacey, for god's sake get a haircut!
