You go surfing first thing in the morning because around sunrise and sunset there is least wind at the ocean (still don’t know why!) so the waves are the most clear. Literally mirror water

@esteelalonde you are SOOOOOO funny. The lol when you were trying to remember the surf class, and it did look like you had no shirt and you wanted a good tip when you were behind the bar. It’s all so funny. I was lolling the entire time. I remember when I first watched you a few years ago, you said that no one thinks your funny, but you thought you were. Or something like that. You seem more and more relaxed in the last few years and I would actually pay to see you do stand up. Or I would love for you to show me around a town. It looks like your a fun driver and you always go to good food places and love to shop. And we could talk about anxiety and how it’s such a pain when your just trying to live your life. Is your guest your man friend who you talked about on that podcast? I didn’t follow you when you were talking about the past. I started following you when you were about to get your baby girl. I would give you some advice even though I don’t know you…but not on here. I was a similar age and all of a sudden I was thinking about when to have offspring. I wish I had done things in a different way. Anyway, I want to try mirror water. I wish I lived in London. I was just getting ready to bitch about MY jet lag compared to your jet lag when I thought maybe I should check on our time-zone differences: You in London to Sri Lanka; Me in Portland, Oregon to Tahiti. I about fell over when I learned that you had a 4-hour difference and I had only a 3-hour difference. So what it comes down to for both of us is the marathon ride in a jet. Let’s bond, though, on the insufferable hours in the plane, going from northern hemisphere to southern hemisphere-and you are farther north than me, so you totally deserve the “Jet-ride Suffer Trophy!” Love you, Estee, and I’m sending you, “travel companion” and Effie a virtual hug from me and my English setter. (I have a bunch of beloved speed-skater friends up in Vancouver that we refer to each other as “cousins,” and whether you skate or not, I feel like you’re a cousin, too-and same cousin status with “travel companion” and Effie❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Hey, I surf and yes the waves tend to be better because there's less wind in the morning so you're spot on. Crowds are definitely there though because as we established the conditions are better and also people go for a surf before heading to work (well here in Australia at least)
