Wonderfully depicted book. Just now i read it in its Tamil version. Ajanthi, Murali, Roshan and Kanchana will always live in my heart. Could able to understand Tigers to some extent. Cannot imagine the hardship faced by my young brothers and sisters in the battle field. What a courage and determination should be there to face the battle field without food, water, shelter, cloths etc., etc. Salute to sister Niromi and all.

Like Ajanthi, I expected your young age photo in the book to actually visualize your physique at the time you were in the battle. If possible, pl add in future editions.

No denying the pride and prejudice of both major communities against one another. Aren't there huge cover ups of some unsaid factors such as the discrimination against the lover casts in the community. So there is much that is not adressed in public talks such as this and also in reports and books published. The little things precipitate and become mountains. The solution major is in the inner attitudes. Politics cannot solve but only suppress and put up a facade.

Oh well, this is what happens to ex-colonies when the British leave, they just go back to their uncivilised ways. Human rights is no such thing, except the will of natures laws let them sort their own problems out.

Well, well, here we go, the Subcontinent was more civilized even before the British arrived. Just because you had guns does not make you more civilized. Your Grandfather didn't come and build the exotic temples, Taj Mahal etc. Just to add, wherever the British colonized there have been problems as they were only interested in looting.
