@@maureendrozda9033 The last time I saw Stevie, was on the south side of Pittsburgh. His stage was set up in front of train tracks. You could see the city through the backdrop of the stage. Halfway through the show, a train passed. You couldn't hear it, only the music could be heard. It was on a clear June night! The most amazing show ever! 😎✌❤

Absolutely one of a kind-the complete performer! Given special gifts of talent, heart and soul, a young man in his prime, giving it all, while he had so much to give. We did not have him long enough, but I am so very thankful for the time he was with us and these great videos that keep him alive for today and future generations, who would not believe how great he was unless they could see it for themselves. Double Trouble with the final perfect piece of Reece Wynans was the final touch that added up to perfection! Thank you Stevie and friends for the music that keeps on giving us so much life and joy!!

It is now 27th August 2021 here in Aotearoa, and i'm listening to this version of Ain't going to give up on Love, and i'm thinking in 2021 this man is still the most important single person/thing/inspiration and motivation in my life. This man saved my life back in 28th August 1990 because instead of wasting/ending my life I wanted to play guitar just like him, every time I strap a guitar on I think he's there with me, and I have him to thank for the saying........thank god my elevator is still broken, love you Stevie

Oh yes he had a special spirit! I meet him first time 1984 and he actually play my 55 stratocaster and I still own it ! He show me the soul and today I play way different because of him. And some days it's like he watch me keep up from the sky. And he was magical and he got to fight harder then Jimmie because as he was younger his brother had already play most places before Stevie. That inspired him to be the person he was that he told me face to face. Whit full respect for my friend SRV see you as my days is over down here at earth! The swed 🇸🇪

@@bjornchristiansson2827 well..I think Stevie Ray Vaughan was led on in his younger years because his mom and dad partied like he expressed on interviews and Stevie was all alone alot which led to do things on his own and he was subjected to do alot of things that other kids his age did not typically do..and Jimmi leaving home at 15 years old and not returning meant his mom and dad did not want him back home for various reasons and did not report him missing if that's legal or not..so..Stevie found his way and he really struggled growing up..r u with me?

it was filmed for MTV. The Fabulous Thunderbirds opened the show with a full set, there was a short set in between of both bands together (more or less) and then SRV did this. You have to remember he's barely 2 months out of rehab at this point and just getting his legs under him. And yet - he's THAT GOOD.

A documentary would be great but his life story incorporating the rich Austin music scene and srv portrayed by actor(s) while using his music as the soundtrack seems very doable. Either way two hours doesn't seem long enough!!! Even though he was taken too soon he lived several lifetimes while here on earth. Let's hope something is done to mark the 30th year of his earthly passing. Peace

I was there on the Presidente. We'd spent $200 on scalped tickets we bought from some guy named Dave and the show went on for another 5 hours after this! There was a lot of Stevie and Jimmy and Fabulous Thunderbirds ... and afterwards I and my girlfriend walked back on gaslit cobbled streets to the Cafe Du Monde and got in an icing sugar fight with some new acquaintances and then to bed in an unexpectedly huge suite in the Richilieu ... best night out in my life. What a GIFT he HAS, I think his recognition of that gift, helped keep his feet on the ground! I’m at the age where there’s less life left, for me, here on earth. One of the greatest things about life After this one is that, once I pass from this journey, you can be sure, that I’ll go directly to where the music is coming from…I’ll see Stevie there, guitar in hand, playing WHATSOEVER HE PLEASES…..0h, & I’ll see him encased in blue-white light, just as we HEARD GLIMPSES OF, HERE ON EARTH!

Stevie was loved and idolized by blues fans, but sadly didn't live long enough to receive the honor and adulation from the mainstream music community that he so richly deserved! True genius is seldom recognized or appreciated until it's too late to be rewarded! It's hard to imagine the heights he would have reached had he lived, having finally rid himself of the demons of addiction. I think he was just beginning to come into his own, both musically and personally. RIP Bluesman, we miss you. 🎸🎵

Jamming to SRV while doing design work and started thinking of 3 X's I got to see him. SS President twice (yes, I was there) and he also played around Halloween one year with the T birds both Vaughn’s whaling on a Double Neck at the same time, Amazing Stuff. The other time @ Da Audubon Zoo, SRV had the Whiskey Flu, and somehow got stuck in a NOLA Snow Blizzard in August. SRV could barely sing, just stood there and ripped it for about an 2hrs. Greg Allman should have opened the show but, closed it down. GA was just getting out of rehab sounded great. God Bless SRV

Lucky to see him twice. He never phoned it in, 200% every performance. Just noticed strat with tuning pegs on bottom, don't remember seeing that guitar before.

Stevie Was. Stevie.. You did not try to copy anybody else.. He was just inspired by free buddy else... The world lost not only a good musician a legend or whatever the world lost a great human being .. There's only 3 major influences in my life.Randy roads steve vaughn Joe santriani.. I have many other influences but there are the three Main.. We all get emotional every now and then about stevie.. May you rest in peace stevie ray ...
