You can see how much, Stevie's fans loved him. Noone wanted to part from him. I think he had such a positive affect on people. He was a great musician, and singer, but he alway's seemed to be a humble man. He cared about his band member's, and that comes through by his action's. He revived the "Blue's", and put his own stamp on it. He sort of married the "Blue's and Rock, and Jazz", as well. I think so many people respected him, in a lot of way's. He is missed by his family. He is missed by all of his fan's, and even has an influence on young people as well. Those who weren't even born, when he was playing his music. There's an infectious feeling that he had on people, through his talent and personality. Thank you SRV! 🙏🤗

What impresses me most about this video is Stevie's humbleness to insure Double Trouble was not only there, but included in placing their prints and name. Showing all that they were just as much a part of that driving Texas rhythm. Stevie was a class act that was taken to soon. Thanks for the video.

He knew how much it meant, never forgetting his roots or his fans. I love you SRV for that and your great heart, passion, soul, music and love of people. You are so misses.

Lynn Krois You're right about Stevie being kind. However, he loved people and never thought of them as a burden. He would always state that time is the most precious thing I can give because it stems from my love. And you will never find any reference of him calling anybody his fan or fans. He was a Christian and in his eyes everyone was a brother and sister. I know this for a fact. He's my family.

This was the day before my wife and I were to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Being from Texas, and stationed across the state, we had NO idea that Stevie was even in N.D. we were in Bismarck at the Sheraton and it makes me ill that he was THAT close, and we did even know or we would have been there. Sadly, the day before her birthday that same year, she had to break the news of Alpine Valley and what happened. Thanks for posting this.

I heard a few times SRV was in areas not populated by many ethnic people and they began with their hateful comments about the music style in a dismissive tone and he would go out of his way to check them. Often stopping shows over a drunk biker type yelling horrible things as if all his fans thought that way. His brother said many times Stevie was very serious about that and stood on it each day he lived.
