Very fine presentation, my friend. :) You hit the nail on head, speaking as a Western ship nerd, generally our fascination with shipswrecks usually starts under British hegemony.

I honestly feel like I generally get maritime history through the same lens. The German ships tend to be overshadowed by the British(and sometimes French and American ships). So it's refreshing to get to discuss the Kaiser.
