Introducing one of the or more so the most unique street build in the country; this is my good friend Tharindu Peiris’s Nissan Silvia S15, the final and the most alive generation from the Silvia’s lineup.
This is a car that catches everyone’s eye at the first glance, including the Five-O except not to put us or the car in trouble but to ask about the make and model of the car since it’s the only in the country and never witnessed one before.
This used to be a drag built car which used to run the National quarter mile events and it did perform very well in whatever it participated but in my personal honest opinion it doesn’t deserve to be a drag spec car for being the only in the country. Luckily, Tharindu got his hands on it and brought it back to life and this time it was purely a street build as it deserved.
The car being a street car, it’s definitely not stock, instead it’s way far from being stock inside and out. It has the Vertex wide-body with a Voltex GT big wang and is sitting on a set of genuine Advan GT-D wrapped around some meaty Toyo Tires R888’s.
Being driven on R888’s you’d expect it to have traction but no, not at all, it spins in wet and dry tarmac both. Plus, it’s powered with one of the very recent turbos “Turbo by Garrett the G25 660” turbo, spools very early at the wide-band holds full boost at 4200 and stretches till 8/9K rpm (that’s redline just so you know) no lag, whatsoever. And the paint, it’s definitely not Nissan paint code but a fully custom paint job to be specific. It’s a clean wine red until the sun hits, then it changes from Red to a nice subtle Orange, it’s so beautiful that you have to witness it transform to get the full experience.
For anyone who’d like to see the full spec list of the car please do scroll down and everything I can remember as of yet in detail. But anyway, the car is running a healthy 375WHP at 4200rpm(1.68 bar boost) and so much more left to squeeze too.
With so much goodies from WickedEP Racing and a fine tune by Sabry from Platinum Auto Spa the car is running super healthy as it ever could.

The only S15 in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 🇯🇵 on fire 🔥. It was first originally painted blue. Then after it was painted red , and after it was painted silver. Now it’s again painted red ❤❤
