Really want this one. I just ordered a Bob Weir Deluxe. A tele is next. I also think it’s super ugly. Wish Fender made this one in some color choices. I’d still want it, even this ugly version. Hope they keep making this one.

Good job, I always enjoy your content. Question: I just picked up this model second hand and when the middle pickup is engaged I don't really hear much of a change, if any, until I get to nearly full volume. The middle knob works more as an on/off right before it gets to full on. Have you noticed this to be the case on yours? Maybe my ears have just spent too many years in front of cranked amps, lol.

Just got one and oddly enough the headstock doesn’t fit in the case without turning the tuner and I’ve heard several other people saying the same thing

I dig that Tele I have a guitar that totally doesn’t match but it sounds killer and is a complete work horse! It’s just a mix of parts. I also have a Schecter Ultra III loaded with Filtertrons that’s killer! I can split the coils and do all sorts of crazy stuff with them.

Steve, did you notice a significant difference in output volume between the neck and bridge pickups? I have one of these guitars and the difference in volume can be a real distraction when playing live. I'm wondering whether there might be something wrong with mine. Curious to hear whether you've noticed the same thing. Thanks!

If a pickup is too quiet just raise it closer to the strings.

.....It definitely needs a 1 3/4 Nut, for sustain, & easier to get Between the strings. When some of these major guitar companies Finally discover that, increase in sales will happen, that's if they don't Scam the buyer with foolish prices.
