That's what ppl don't understand about fast characters. Ppl think you're supposed to rush down with fast characters but in reality you're supposed to control the tempo. If your character is significantly faster than your opponent then you can choose to speed it up or slow it down.

I feel like lately, Peanut has seemingly taken the advice of always try to make it back to stage, whereas he may have just air dodged into the blast zone, now he always tries to make it back even when there's nearly no chance of making it back, and sometimes he does and his gameplay is better for it.

That is the first thing you'd think of? He neutral air dodged and thought Peanut would punish his landing but Peanut reacted to the air dodge knowing he wouldn't shield and his fastest option was spot dodge to avoid the KO punch landing but Peanut ALSO waited that one out and then punished. The mind games

i swear, Peanut plays Mac just to troll. He shows over and over that he understands the patience and timing to punish when an opponent makes a bad option. Again, i feel like he could get this kind of elite gameplay with anyone else but Little Mac suits him so well.

The thing about ultimate tierlist, is that they are all relatively much closer to eachother than most other games tierlists. Like theoretically a game could have characters within 99% of the same chance of winning against eachother, and that 1% would mean the difference between s and f tier.

it's a bad matchup for little mac on paper, but little mac does have the great speed to punish the healthy amount of end lag on richter's projectiles and even his whip. it can be scary the other way around for the zoning character because you know a player like peanut w a char as fast as little mac will punish one wrong choice

@@johnbingham5693 I personally think it's better than Ganon's and Dr.M recovery. More in terms of mix up, for me the other 2 are easier to predict the recovery path whether it's waiting for the up b or down b. For Mac he can at least get a counter recovery or stall enough for him to get back.
