Building rc cars is what I really love and some days hate. I love the creativity you can have when building. I picked up the contender wheels from ssd I had to have them because they remind me of Toyotas bead lock wheels.

I have a set of wheels from SSD. For going up steep hills and some help with side hilling, I did a weight combination of going with steel wheels, and just brass weights for the front. So more weight down low but also so extra up front which really works perfectly

These brass rings are amazing. Had to adjust my drag brake ramp from medium to fast but they really allow my Capra to side hill and crawl so much better.

Great tip! Drag brake and punch are adjustable on most good ESC's so it's easy to counter any ill-effects.

RC Review for sure. I have the 8 hole black ssd wheels without ring and they look amazing. Been looking to put these on my trx6 cause the rings are interchangeable with the 1” rings on my injora method knock offs. Lol.

You should talk about walmart trucks. I got a hard body raptor that fits my trx4 for $50! The same body is on Amazon for $112 un-painted. I also got a 4 door jeep wrangler hard body for the same price. Very slight mods to make it fit. Walmart trucks are ALL show and NO go, but if you are looking for a nice body consider checking walmart first. Not to mention the raptor came on 2.2s that are. Not that bad in the dirt and mud that fit my Duratrax rims perfectly all for $50, you really can't beat it!

Can you actually remove the outer bees lock ring can I take off all those screws or are those there just for looks

Yes, when these fit on a plastic deadlock set (they're pretty standard) it's magic and it adds life to those plastic RTR beadlocks.

the 15mm hub that came with it seems to work well. A little wider will widen the vehicle and help it from rolling over.

Hello to everyone. I want an honest opinion. Because I've bought 4 beadlock white wheels from AliExpress and hate them because the tyres come off from the outside side, the stock trx4 tyres will fit perfectly on an ssd wheel or will come off the wheel ? My money are very limited, so i don't have margin to spend money for very expensive metal wheels. So tell me the truth if they fit perfectly and i will buy the SSD 1.9" STEEL 8 SPOKE BEADLOCK WHEELS (WHITE). I love this classic white style wheels and i want my money to worth.

I was wondering if you could maybe do some reviews on some Beadlocks by easy to hard installing on tires and which brand might be nicer then others.Im new to beadlocks. It would help I’m trying to decide on a set.Do you happen to have some ideas? on what to buy I’m looking for easiest to put on tires looking at 1.9 size Locked up rc wheels rock cutter wheel, gear head, Motoworxracing,alientec, vanquish or injora which I think are the same wheel for less? real beadlocks are not road legal thats why not many people use them. being able to run your tires at 5psi is amazing

Not street legal? I see. Yes, we see that tire psi unde 10 is absolutely possible. Gotta find terrain for that though. And vehicles that need it.

@@RCReviewChannel I had beadlocks on my jeep and I drop the tires down to 8-10 any time im going to be off road for a while the amount of grip you gain is insane and the ride becomes butter smooth for bouncing down rutted muddy trails. though you dont have to have beadlocks to run that pressure they keep the wheel on even if its totally shredded
