@@ksiiskingand it’s ironic cause he wasn’t outclassed at all, SSJ2 Gohan was still superior but the point is he was afraid and that self blaming cause his father died just effected him too much, to think about the fact he defeated him with one arm and loosing so much energy I would definitely say if it was a normal 1v1 like before he would have still defeated, obviously not as easy as before, but I guess there are many opinions on this theory

It's revealed now, they don't name it until the next ark pretty much. After this they only know it was an ascended super Saiyan. If she doesn't know, this is the official Super Saiyan 2.

This is called an Ascended Saiyan, but later in the show they call it a Super Saiyan 2. SSJ2 has a 100 times modifier of base form vs SSJ 50 times modifier.

I never understood the multipliers because they don't make sense with what we see on the show. The initial super saiyan is 50x base... Super saiyan 2 cannot be 100x base because then what is ssj grade 2 and 3 and what is mastered super saiyan 1? I think it is more accurate to say that super saiyan 1 is 50x base. Super saiyan mastered is 50x multiplied by an unknown Y. And super saiyan 2 is 50x based multiplied by Y multiplied by 2. Super Saiyan 2 should be mastered super saiyan x2. Not initial super saiyan x2.

@@ThatGuy-tx4vmI don’t think too much of the grades tbh, it’s the same super sayain multiplier but their base power level rose to a point to give the super sayain form different results, gohan when he turned ssj2 was enraged which means before he transformed his power was far stronger in ssj 1 than what he was showing when cell was beating him up

@@Semajmk7 I think when this aired this was not called super saiyan 2. In fact it is that way... As far as i can tell back in the day, the Vegeta and Trunks versions were just imperfect attempts to ascend but ultimately failed in actually surpassing the super saiyan form and just maxed it on raw power... Like buff Frieza. On the other hand Goku and Gohan were just basic Ssj that could use all their power without wasting it or any other drawbacks. Vegeta and Trunks were attempted transformations that wasted way too much energy without actually transforming. Gohan is the only one that went beyond the super saiyan 1 limits.

Vegeta and Trunks strained the form to the max. Goku mastered it and made it effortless and Gohan surpassed it.

The innocent loving Gohan is gone he has no emotions no feelings you see it based off his personality and actions. He warned Cell over and over to not push him and I'm not sure if you guys noticed in the last episode when Gohan achieve that transformation you saw tears coming down his face. Because Cell pushed him in the position he did not want to be in now he's going to fight to try to kill him. It's something Gohan did not want even though Cell is rotten and evil to the Core Gohan has no feelings of doing that to anyone. And I know Trunks has to be so proud seeing his master in the present time line become this strong.

Gohan is just a legit POWERHOUSE.👊🏾⚡️ Especially this version of him. I would say both this transformation and the first Super Saiyan transformation of Goku are on par for me. Both transformations came in time when they seriously needed it. “The power comes in response to a need, not a desire.” Funniest part of the episode was Gohan snatching the sensu beans from Cell.😂 And the broadcast feed going out.

My fav moment is about to happen pretty soon :D but so far best moment... i'mma bitch for Gohan Transformation in Japanese version what else can i tell :D but beside that... Piccolo sacrifice for Gohan in Saiyan saga 🥲 I watched DB first as little kid and seen Goku as myself (most of us boys did) then kinda got sad when he got adult but he quickly was likeble again and then he faced Piccolo Jr who was the coolest villan (so far!) offspring but... even cooler (!); that guy had all the moves and almost beats Goku with whom he allies to fight Raditz to get back Gohan and Gohan reminds me so much of Goku! He was little, pure hearted but he didn't grind for battle he became even more likable because he seemed like he wasn't meant for this world but he grows stronger with Piccolo who was as baddass as bad guy can get (that's why I loved him at 1st place) but blend in as good guy so well! His last resort save was just everything that DBZ taught us: friendship, comradely, going against all odds, overcoming your limits, training hard and treat people fair, remembering that "good" might come back to you in one way or another 🙇🏻‍♂ that's how i interpretate this little flashback of Piccolo once he gives his last breath
