The manga of Dragon Ball Super actually devotes a decent amount of time describing the "Majjn Boo arc" in Trunks timeline. We see Trunks actually train with the Z sword like Gohan, but the Elder Kai never gets released from the sword because it gets turned into stone and gets destroyed. It ends with Kibito dying and Trunks turning SSJ2, and with the last of his energy the Supreme Kai holds Dabrua into place for Trunks to finish the job. The Supreme Kai dies happy knowing that the universe is safe from boo.

I can tell you, it’s because she watched dbz and has the knowledge of what happened before super, for example Goku showing ssj3 to trunks right here, she knew that transformation but Trunks didn’t and she obviously is curious what will happen next, what Trunks will think etc. (remember for the og fans before dbs was released, we had so many questions and what ifs like this which we got in super so we were much more excited)

@@grydon6422 true. that's why there are 2 alternate time rings when they show them. there is a separate future timeline with trunks dead and the androids dead as well where cell leaves. most likely that universe is done for because dabura and babidi still come and awaken majin buu later on with no resistance. the only way to resist them would be for future bulma to take a spaceship and find the namekian planet and wish all the z fighters back to earth. it would be a pretty epic story to watch.

@@realtonysolo Well, the supreme kai in the original F. Trunks timeline would have probably recruited another champion, like Future Trunks, to defeat Babidi and Dabura. If the dragon balls were to be considered a last resort, the supreme kai could simply teleport future bulma to new namek and have her make the wish of reviving F. Trunks and have Dende brought to Earth to serve as the new guardian to repay his debt to Gohan for saving his life. Since the Kais are against using the dragon balls, they could simply allow Bulma to use them as a loop hole.

Future Trunks handled the Majin Buu problem in his timeline far better than Goku & the Z fighters did in the present. Even though the present Z fighters got way stronger by fusing & reaching Super Saiyan 3 from fighting Majin Buu. However in the future, Future Trunks was the only Saiyan & Z fighter in that timeline so there wasn't enough energy to resurrect Majin Buu

100% agree. This is post god ki absorbtion Goku who also trained for years. His SSj2 is now stronger than his SSj God form in BoG. Remember in BoG his SSj rivals his God form once he lost it but absorbed it. This will be also confirmed later during his sparing match with Zamasu where Gowasu mentions that SSj2 Goku rivals a destroyer (suppressed obviously). DBZ powers are joke at this point in super. And Trunks matched Goku becouse of constant fighting with Black aka zenkai boosts.

In all honesty. the difference between super Saiyan 2 & 3 is only like a 5 times multiplier. It actually doesn't mean anything, when you actually think about it, because a Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks would get spanked down without effort by Goku and Vegeta in their base form. The truth is that Super Saiyan 3 isn't necessarily more powerful than Super Saiyan 2. It's a multiplier to their current form. So base form Goku is already more powerful than when Gohan beat Cell. Meaning his regular Super Saiyan form is 5 times more powerful than his base form. That's how that works; just BEING A super Saiyan actually means NOTHING in the grand scheme of things. That's why Gotenks kept getting his ass beat at every turn vs Buu. Because Goten and Trunks weren't actually that strong. Sure they had a vast amount of energy, but powerful???? Not so much.
