I always take great comfort in listening to Father Jenkins as he talks like an old style true catholic in measured and assured terms. It is a style that very few have these days as it appears to be going out fashion the art of speaking with clarity thought consideration and graceful good manners

Thank you Father Jenkins and all who are instrumental in preparing this important podcast every week. This particular one I'm going to re-watch and re-watch again in order to gain a better understanding of the SSPV vs. The SSPX. I've attend the local SSPX but I lean so heavily to the position of the SSPV eventhough there isn't one available in my area. I thoroughly agree with Archbishop Vigano, Fr. Altman and others associated with the SSPV that I can't wholeheartedly jump on the SSPX bandwagon. As usual these days my choices have turned out to be the "lesser of two evils". I don't know where to find an SSPV and it's very impractical for me to move, although my salvation may depend upon it. Maybe the SSPX will suffice for a time. I welcome any comments from readers who are able she'd some light on this difficult topic. Thank you in advance. 🙏🙏🙏

@ sweetcaroline I was going to a sede Church for 14 yrs but I have moved area and I can only have an SSPX Mass every 6wks.Just do the best you can I'm struggling not going to Mass. ( I went at least 3-4 times a week) It's very difficult as I have had people say to me your not keeping your Sunday duty. So I'll pray for you Caroline but I'm sure it will be fine your going to traditional Mass and doing the best you can due to circumstances.God bless I'm in Australia Is Fr Altman with SSPV ? If so that's great.

I am not here to debate anyone just found your post interesting. I am not in the SSPV or other groups who reject post Vatican II Popes as an fyi. Regarding Fr. Altman, I thought he was a 2013 Benevacantist and thus rejects Francis as Pope, or stated in the alternative form, last valid Pope was Pope Benedict XVI. So has Fr. Altman joined Fr. Jenkins SSPV group of priests? Thanks.

It's so ironical that SSPX, that firmly sticks to the idea that Francis is the pope, thinks that they have the right to judge everything rhat comes out of his mouth to determine if it's a Catholic thought or not. That's literally the job of the pope; to confirm the faithful in the Faith. Doesn't that very action put themselves above the authority of the one they believe is the pope? Doesn't that make THEM the authority and not the one they call pope? Doesn't it make them the schismatics, in that they recognize Francis as Pope, but deny him the authority that goes with the office?

Contact the Congregation of St. Pius V and inform them that you would like to be placed on the mission circuit. They are the current instation of the SSPV.

They filed lawsuits against Lefebvre in the interest of obtaining property for the fledgling SSPV. The Vatican doesn't own anything they can lay claim to via litigation.
