Jack has really done well at exposing how to become a multimillionaire, by being cute, and reading a script, because watching 60 second videos and having organic reactions is too much work. Her channel is like that chick that was a famous NPC for a few weeks. As Jack highlights so brilliantly - she has about 8 phrases and editing filters that completely make up her content. If the hustle is so lucrative for her - why wouldn't she make sure her editors don't crop out credits and watermarks. Include a list of links in the description - for the folks who actually made the content. When these thoughts never enter into her head while under such scrutiny, only shows that it's all about the money. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with a smart woman businessperson. But this is an artistic platform as well as financial. Folks have their entire life's work on here for free. The very least she could do is credit the artist's work.

One thing that makes me angry about Sssniperwolf is the fact that she advertises herself as a "girl gamer". I was a kid in the mid 2000's, when the idea of girls playing video games was still often unheard of. Between that and all my other undiscovered issues (like social anxiety and potentially ADHD), I struggled to make friends--other girls didn't want to hang out with me, no matter what I tried. And when I did make friends, it was hard to find common ground. I know that sounds very much like "I'm not like other girls", but that's genuinely what it felt like. I would cry and cry because I always felt lonely and left out, wondering what was wrong with me. It hurt. Sometimes, I would try instead to hang out with my brother and his friends, but they didn't really like that. And then I would just feel worse. I struggled. I really did. I felt like an outcast everywhere I went. I now know that there more going on than just having some then-unconventional interests for a girl. I also know that there are countless other girls in the world who felt the same way I did when I was a child. But I didn't know any of that at the time. I just knew that I felt sad and left out. And then someone like Alia comes along and claims to be some kind of pilgrim for girls in video games, all while faking her gameplay and making bank off of it. I don't begrudge that she's successful--I really don't. That in itself does not upset me. But she has lied, and with that, I do take serious issue. For that, she's a stain on girls in video games. Alia, I don't know you personally, but I don't get the impression that you know an ounce about how girls like me struggled when we were young. I don't wish you ill will, but I will say this: you do not stand for me or for other female gamers. I do not accept you as some kind of representative. Stop stealing content and claiming to be something you're not. You can do better than this.

Everyone understands that the reason she blew up is because she’s objectively attractive. She can gain/hold attention because she is nice to look at. Although it might have been somewhat of a factor in the grand scheme of things, the content itself that she created was always of less importance. I believe the gaming content simply helped her acquire a larger audience to feed off of and gave her that initial boost into the limelight. I will give credit where credit is due however. She used her ‘pretty girl privilege’ and turned herself into a relevant internet celebrity with a multi million dollar net worth. This is tricky because it’s easy to say that without Evan she wouldn’t have reached what she did initially, but I’m not convinced. Yes she used gameplay and read scripts, but she more than likely would have succeeded regardless. Now I can not say the same tithe other side. Would he have succeeded without her ? Unlikely in my opinion. But the fact is none of that matters because they both used each other and benefited greatly because of it. When it’s all said and done, he deserves to be compensated. She will still have her fame and money and he will be justly rewarded for the time, effort, and support he has given her throughout their relationship and business endeavors.

She got popular because she was a pretty girl gamer. Like, one of the first ones. On her own, I do believe she would still get popular, but nowhere near to this extent, unless she would find herself another niche to occupy. He does deserve quite a huge chunk of the channel, she wouldn't be as big as she is without him.

He's cool. Unfortunately he's throwing stones in glass houses rn. He took a betterhelp help sponsorship, for his last yiay. Alot.of people where very disappointed. He can't be critical of other creators behaviors then do something alot of people would say is kind of similar. He sold out his audience for a betterhelp sponsorship. Just read the comments in his last ever yiay video. Alot.of people are very critical of that partnership.
