THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on KZbin now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!

The ramjets in game, based on the name and thrust curve, can be assumed to be turboramjets, like the SR-71. They start off as turbojets(albeit rather inefficient ones) before switching to a ramjet mode. However the player doesn't have control over this like you do with the rapier.

The wing shape is called a 'double delta' design where it it actually two delta wings configured together to overcome some of the issues with a 'standard' delta wing. The forwards delta wing is more narrow to keep it inside the supersonic/hypersonic shockwave while the aft delta flares out more to help with stability and control and both high and low speeds. The engines were 'straight' tuboramjets using turbojets that sagued into being ramjets in a similar manner to the SR-71. There was no need to invoke "SCramjets" as the engines never operated above Mach 5 which is pretty easy for standard subsonic combustion ramjets to do. Awesome video as usual

Pretty damn good replica. I use docking ports to reattach my hinged 5m cargo door / fairing cap. Might work for you better then struts.

As the SSTO just slowly glides into the atmosphere and the tiny towns below it come into view, with the music playing in the background, I just imagine a world where this became reality. This is not actually a shuttle concept, it was meant to complement the shuttle for SPS. Unfortunately, SPS never happened because the oil crisis ended.

This time, the visuals clued me in that a speech mistake was coming. XD (If I made videos, I'd highlight my mistakes too. I hate retakes.) But apart from that... Star-Raker forever!! :D Of the few concepts around when I was a kid -- the ones in books which I could look at -- it was one of the big ones. What I remember (although to be honest, I remember it more from someone else's KSP video recently, :D ) is that the concept started life in the 70s, but wasn't expected to be workable any time soon. It's more of a slow-burn idea. I forget when they initially thought it'd be ready, but I think it was some time this century, possibly even 2020. Interesting drag trick. I didn't know you could drag the cone that far back. I guess I missed the fairing + 2 cones drag trick too; I'm going to need it if I ever finish that one spaceplane I'm building. :o Doze wings, so huge! Boom! :D Eject that space station! lol I know it's probably just sped up, but that was funny. Lovely camera-work! I realy enjoyed both the interior views and the reentry/landing. The landing was really smooth, too.

Seeing how much delta v your craft has gives me a self esteem boost, I was thinking I was pitifully bad with my own cargo ssto design with payload carrying capability getting around 4000-5000 delta v depending on the cargo, but your craft built by a professional has a bit less being 3500~ which gives me hope for my skills as a Kerbal engineer. I tried making that big nuclear electric plane thing once, at 2000 parts, mostly struts and slap on things to try fix the minor issues of, *inhale* : wings tending to fall to the ground, struts required to hold wings make too much drag for good speed, proppellers aren't going fast enough and are hilariously small, rudder tends to fall off when used so add more struts, cant reach takeoff speed with electric so remove batteries and replace engine mounts with jumbo jet engines, forgot to add fuel, add fuel, add too much fuel and break the wings again, still cant reach takeoff speed, after finally getting to the middle of the runway going faster than 40m/s realise control surfaces are too small for low speed, add more ailerons and rudder, add too many control surfaces and break wings and rudder AGAIN, reach end of runway successfully at over 100m/s but fall to the ground and crash, add more wings inside the big one, BREAK WING, more strut, going too slow even for new wings, less strut because it didnt seem to change anything, find out that the control surfaces for pitch put too much stress on wings so remove some, wings fine, less strut, more speed but not enough speed acceleration is the issue, waste 5 minutes going between runway and hangar and 2 minutes ever time something disintegrates, add another pair of biggest jet engine in game, feel that there isnt enough fuel before testing, TOO MUCH FUEL, have the plane finally glide long enough for you to realize that the pitch controls are too small forget why, MORE STRUT, plane can now flat glide to the water off the runway but keeps trying to nose dive, add fancy wing tilts to try and fix nose heavy, slight success and more lift but more drag, add canard to front, now flying much better and can remove some of the excessive pitch surface, remember why i removed pitch surface in first place, LES STRUT, give up for the night mostly because of the 3 minute loading time for everything.

The fun thing about the Star Raker is that with today's tech its not only possible to build, and eventually build a fleet, but it would be far more cost effective than Starship in all regards. Oh, and it would be clean for the environment, what with burning hydrogen not methane, and thus only releasing water as its sole combustion byproduct in both jet and rocket engines. The only way I can see for it to be made far better would be if we could get the RDEs to be stable and reliable and replace the rocket engines on this with large RDEs. Otherwise, the Star Raker is better in isolated conditions than any of SpaceX's fleet cost-wise, and to make it even better its compatible with tried and true military logistics rather than whatever the hell SpaceX thinks they'll do with an upright cargo bay like on Starship. Who even thinks that lifting cargo crate-by-crate through a small hatch in the side of a rocket is in any way better than sliding huge packed pallets into the front of a spaceplane? We do the latter every day already with cargo planes, a spaceplane is a plane and supports that, rockets are just a single stage in the process of making better spacecraft, a period in advancement where we use them to throw satellites out into orbit of us or other planets or our star to monitor stuff and learn how to defend our climate and power grids from the Sun's immense activity, and we work hard on abusing the atmosphere for all its worth to get the most efficient method of getting to space before we can discover what metamaterials work best for a real orbital tether and/or geosynchronous space elevator tether. Basically, the Star Raker just needs maintenance like all aircraft need, it only needs hydrogen and oxygen which can be gotten from electrolysis plants splitting water using solar and wind power, or ironically hydro power, or nuclear since that's a critical and infinitely useful power source, or fusion which we need to figure out, and that hydrogen and oxygen are burned cleanly by their very chemical nature to send cargo to orbit, and that water produced from burning the fuel gets mostly returned to the water cycle on Earth to eventually be split again and burned again.
