Load and Reload were created because metallica toured with Kyuss and they dwarfed them in volume and audience response. They loved their sound as well. So, they straight STOLE their whole thing. Even certain riffs were lifted from Blues for the Red Sun. They even kicked Kyuss off of that tour...

Well, here's how I approached it. I made a small pool of roughly 5-6 albums made outlines for each of them. Positive points, negative points, and possible jokes that I could draw from the material given. And I simply went with the one that gave me the most material. I hate the people who diss the black album. Not only are the way too elitist, but that album gained a lot of new listeners for Metallica's earlier work. And I don't think Metallica went "too commercial" with black. Yeah, it's not Puppets, but still a great piece of work, and deserves recognition as such, even if it's not the same or as good as the first three or four albums.

If there is one thing that sucked about the black album it's the fact that they said fuck you to all their progressive experimentation in And Justice For All. But I really liked Load and Reload, there are a lot of bad son but the songs that are good are fucking masterpieces like The Outlaw Torn.

Enter Sandman was the first song i remember listening in my life in the early 90's, but, gotta admit, today, i fucking love St. Anger, i think as much as Black Album, which, isn't even near my favourite Metallica album at all (Ride, Master & And Justice are), it's fucking raw and kick ass. Hell, Load and Reload are fucking shit in comparison.
