I recently lost my Birth Certificate. I needed it badly for legal reasons. For hours I looked in every book, box, couch, shelf, dresser, closet, storage, buffet, drawer, ........Finally I remembered to say a Prayer to St. Anthony. "Saint Anthony, please help me find my Birth Certificate. I need it badly." Right after that Prayer, I looked in a top secret drawer of a dresser. Nothing. So I shut the drawer really hard in my frustration. As it shut, I heard the drop of an object. I opened the drawer beneath the secret drawer, and I found that a large birthday card had fallen into it. I opened the card. There was my folded Birth Certificate! ❤St. Anthony, pray for us and protect us. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!❤

My wife always swore by praying to St. Anthony when something important was lost. Since she's passed away I turned to St. Anthony on a couple of desperate occasions. Very similar situations as what you described. We are not alone thanks to what the Lord has done for us.

I got married at age 33. I was so desperate to have a child of my own. After a year and a half I stil have none. My friend a catecist ask me if I ever ask God for it I said 'no' i just wait in God's own time, but she said, but why don't ask God for it? I didnt answer, but when we had a Convivencia in one of the province of the Region, I belong, I dropped by at the church where St. Anthony happen to be the patron saint. I ask him to make intercession and made some sort of deal, just to have at least a baby. Answered prayer,just befor i turned 35, then at 36, and a month befor i turned 40. Three precious gifts!!!Praise God!!!!!

I experienced several times the miracles from St Anthony. Even things that was lost for years and I was still able to find it.

I was not yet born when the first St. Anthony miracle happened in my family. I remember my father telling me the story 15 years after the incident and it still brought tears to his eyes. When it happened, my family was in Italy but my father was working in Budapest. My 2 year old brother (at that time) got very sick with intestinal worms. The worms had totally invaded his little body to the point of no control. (the explanation of his condition is extremely unpleasant for me to explain) The doctor came to the house and after he saw my brother, he told my mother to contact Dad because the child wouldn't have lasted another day. My father could only have a 2 day pass from his job. The train ride would have taken the majority of his time but he felt the need to see his son. A few hours after he got home he had to turn around and get back to the train station to go back to Budapest. He was devastated, knowing that his son was dying and he couldn't be on his side. On his way to the train station in Padova, he decided to stop at St. Anthony's church and pray for a miracle for his son. He was so intent in his prayers that time passed by. When he came to the realization that he needed to go, the train for Budapest had long departed and he had no choice but to go back home. I remember him saying that on the way home, he couldn't stand the pain of finding his son dead and he kept praying to St. Anthony all the way home. Once he arrived home he ran into my brother's room to be by his side and found my brother sitting up in bed eating breakfast. The doctor was called and he couldn't believe the outcome. He had no explanation for what had happened. Weeks later, my parents returned to St. Anthony's church and explained to the Franciscan Friars what had happened. The Church proclaimed it a miracle and my brother had to wear a little Franciscan tunic for a full year. St. Anthony is my patron and I can say with certainty that he does perform miracles with the help of Baby Jesus, in Father's name. Thank you Fr. Chris, for bringing my patron to light! 🙏

I can testify to the strength of this Saint. I did a one week devotion to ST Anthony to intercede for the company I work with and a few days later we went from bankruptcy to being rescued by an investor. The way it came about was nothing less than miraculous.

I am in my 40’s and was confirmed when I was in 7th grade. I couldn’t decide on a saint to choose for my saint. A teacher told me to look for my bday in a book of saints and see who it was. It was St Colette. I thought that was a beautiful name so I chose it. I never thought much about it, fast forward through my life I grew up and became a Pediatric RN. I have been in this exact field for almost 22years now, many times finding myself praying for the children I care for & witnessing countless miracles. One day I decided to look up my saint, Colette, and was shocked to see she is the patron saint of sick children. One might say I picked her, but I know deep down, God picked her for me! I won’t put her story here, it’s too long, but let me just say, I know without a doubt she continues to intercede through me, in my work. There is no way this was all coincidence! When I was a child, I had no idea I wanted to be a nurse someday, let alone a pediatric one-But God knew. March 6, my bday, St Colette’s feast day. The saints are truly alive.🙏

Exactly, and the Boston Italian-Americans have co-opted Saint Anthony, but I seriously doubt if they are aware of Saint Anthony’s holiness, miracles and great preaching talents. Sadly they’ve secularized St Anthony into a giant commercial street festival the last weekend of August, that has little to no religious connections. It’s a great time I suppose if one likes crowds, but it’s totally non religious.

Prayers please for a troubled family in NSW, Australia. 14 year old son Brock (6 ft tall) has gone astray due to lack of discipline and violent video games from a young age. Mixing with the wrong crowd, violent to his parents and threatening to kill, known to police for various crimes including domestic violence and car theft. Only God can help now. The family need a miracle 🙏

My father had bladder cancer. Doctors told us that the immune therapy meds were on back order. I told my dad we need to pray to St Anthony for him to find this medicine and get it sent here. My dad never prayed this way to St Anthony unless it was a lost item. Well we prayed. With 6 weeks, the medicine reached the office. Doctor was shocked. 2 months later the doctor brought this up again and asked how did we get this medicine here. It was another confirmation that St Anthony performed a miracle. 🙏🏻

I prayed to Saint Anthony to help me find my lost cell phone, and then... I found a lost cell phone, on the top part of my purse. The thing is, I dumped my purse out twice, looking for the cell phone, which had been lost for about three weeks (I am not a habitual cell phone user), but my purse was on the table, and when I opened it, the cell phone was right on top. I asked everyone in our household who found it an put it there, and my husband and son were dumbfounded, no one had seen it. I KNOW it was Saint Anthony, and although I am grateful for his help in finding things, I am more grateful for the hope he helps us find for growing closer to Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph, to God Our Father and to the Holy Spirit, and to our Holy Angels, especially to Our Guardian Angel. St. Anthony, pray for us, help us to always be obedient to the Divine Will, and help us all get to Heaven. Amen.

My sister was diabetic and got lost in West Street in Durban . We reported to the police who told us to bring her passport. We met the policeman who took her passport and looked at the photo and asked " are you looking for this person " we said yes. This one standing behind you. Turning around she was behind us. My mom was born on St Anthony's feast day at St Anthony's Hospital in P. Oregon 91 years ago. She was always drawn to this powerful saint. Mom was not catholic until after she married our dad and had me. We were all 3 baptized into the Catholic church when I was a year old. The prayer that all 5 of my siblings learned very early, along with the Angel of God prayer, was "Dear St Anthony please come 'round something's been lost and can't be found." There have been many lost and found stories over the decades; passports, money, purses, dogs, rosaries, etc. too many to count. Mom is still giving her friend St. Anthony thanks and God the glory. We loved this talk and pray for you and all MIC everywhere.

Oh, that's so funny that Fr. Chris wanted to just be in the background and now he's one of the greatest Christian teachers on KZbin right now. I could have REALLY benefited from him on EWTN when I was a kid. The teachers back then we're good, Mother Angelica, Fr. Benedict Groeschel, Fr. Mitch Pacwa, etc. But I may have understood Christianity like I do now and never would have left The Church growing up with his teaching.

My grandmother who passed away a long time ago when i was young has a relic of St. ANTHONY and was praying for him all the time. In that small town in the Philippines, she was sought to pray for the Saint for lost caravans, lost husband even and by the grace of God, most of the times they were found This is according to my mother, we still have the old old relic of St. ANTHONY.

Saint Anthony has become a great helper to me. Example, due to health issues, my husband often needs to have an I.V. or get his blood drawn. But he's a "hard stick," and it could sometimes take an hour to get a needle in. I've started praying to St. Anthony at these times and - voila! - instant success! A similar thing happened with my best friend's mom, who has Alzheimers. The poor woman suffered for 45 min as nurses tried to get an I.V. into her, when my friend texted me and asked me to pray. I asked for St. Anthony's intercession. Later, my friend informed me that they got the needle into her mother's arm immediately after asking me to pray. God is so good!

Back home in the Philippines, June 13th, Saint Anthony’s day is a big celebration in our community. Now, I can share to my family, relatives and friends about St. Anthony. Last Friday, our pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Divine Mercy has deepened my faith as a Marian Helper. Great Topic Father Alar. I am one of the recipient of one of the miracles through St. Anthony's intercession. I lost partial vision of my right eye when I had a slight heart attack many years ago. I can't see my whole plate when I am eating and I bumped things because my vision is not correct. I used to touch the table first before I put glass or breakables or else it will fall on the floor. Then I had a dream. A good bishop told me in my dream that he offered my lost of vision to God througj St. Anthony. I went back to my devotion to St. Anthony and gradually I have my vision back. It's not perfect but I can see things better. Thank you very much. You are gifted. Your preaching is awesome.

I have a special devotion to St. Anthony. Besides helping me find multiple lost items he has helped me to transfer pain from my child to myself after a surgery. My child (now a grown man) was in very bad pain after a surgery and as a mother this was very emotional for me because I couldn’t help to ease his pain. I said “St. Anthony please let me take some of his pain” and at that moment I experienced great pain in my body. l knew that I had witnessed a true miracle. I always spread the word of St. Anthony’s miracles. The power of prayer is amazing when you truly believe. I pray that all of your special intentions come true.

Listening to your storytelling about the life of St. Anthony is full of excitement,wonder and devotion to him. Thank you so much, Fr. Chris. Your ability to relate the events in his life is highly commendable and remarkable. Praise the Lord for the great talent and zeal. Last June 13, 2023, we celebrated his feast in our church after the 9 Tuesday’s novena with a procession and beautiful Lilies in our hand. I have more love for him now that I know his life, words and deeds. Prayers for you in return, Fr. Chris.

I forgot about the Tuesday devotions Ofelia. Back in the day St Anthony’s Shrine in downtown Boston was a flurry of activity. It’s located in the business and shopping district of downtown. Masses were celebrated on 2 levels all day, and before Saturday vigil Masses, midnight Masses were held every Saturday beginning at midnight until 2:00 AM. I have no idea of the current activity there, as I don’t visit downtown Boston a lot.

St.Anthony intercedes many times in my life ever since I started praying to him. I have many miraculous stories to tell it probably won’t fit on here. He never failed. Up to now am still praying to him as well as the 13th Tuesday novena to St. Anthony! I’m so thankful and forever grateful for all the intercessions. 🧎‍♀️🙏🛐✝️

I used to attend the mass and novena to St Anthony every Tuesday at the St Anthony Shrine in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines when I was in my late twenties (now I am in my mid 70’s) and only stopped when covid came. I also enjoyed this talk of yours because it helped me know more about St. Anthony who I also love to call when I need to find something 😊. God bless you Fr. He is indeed a great saint and still performs miracles even today. BTW thank you again Father for your visit and amazing talks in Australia. Interesting on days we were born and feast days of saints . so I was born Oct 13th 1967. 50 years after Fatima .. When I learned of these events I found this to be amazing.. I feel called to help( not as big as your calling father) others . I love your talks father chris and the works your group does. Keep preaching.

About why they want to poison St. Anthony..he was helping the people from their money lender.. the money lender invited him for a meal and tried to poison him.. The brown ragged clothing is powerful too. ( when my daughter was 5 years old she played with Padre Pio and I ask her what is he wearing and she said “ he’s wearing a brown ragged shirt. ) St. Anthony please intercede for us.

I love this… thank you father Chris, for another great talk. I once prayed the novena to Saint Anthony when I lost a very special confirmation gift… It was a bracelet with Saint Faustina on it. The bracelet never showed up. However, when I found another one online and ordered it… Not one, but three came in the mail! When I called the company regarding this, they told me to keep them all… So I was blessed times three :-)

Saint Anthony I love him. When my husband had cancer I made a special prayer to St. Anthony & every chemo treatment I anointed my husband with holy oil and we would say that prayer. He never lost any hair or was never sick. He was healthy and completely free of cancer. He did not need radiation either. I have had many miracles of healing through Saint Anthony. Thank you Saint Anthony for your prayers. I love you.

I am a devotee of St Anthony of Padua since I was a kid. My parents always say a novena to St Anthony for me every 13th of the month until the time that I did it for myself when I started to read and understand words on my own. I was told i was naughty back then that decided them to have a patron to guide me and would transform me as to be like St Anthony. Honestly, I can’t account myself that I’m very naughty back then but I’m so delighted of my parents of introducing St Anthony to me as my Patron saints. ❤

Thank you St Anthony! You have always answered. Have been to Padua twice while traveling Italy. There is a palpable presence there, a heaviness of power. I know that sounds Really Weird....but what else can I say? Felt the same once at St Peters.
