I left Saint Augustine, Florida in 2006. I'm originally from Florida, born & raised. After that, I relocated to the Jacksonville area for 10 years and now I moved completely out of Florida in 2016. Your video walking tour of my old stomping grounds brought tears to my eyes. I should have appreciated it when I had it. I didn't realize life would become so expensive and my journey would take me deep into the midwest, and then out of the USA completely to Europe. I'll never return to live there again. But I sure wish I could see this town again. I wish I could relive it. I miss it so much. I miss my friends. I miss the beach. I miss my life so much! Thank you for sharing this video. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. I'm literally in tears! Sorry for my long paragraph!

Why move from the USA to Europe. May I ask which EU country you moved to? Europe has become also very expensive, I would say we had even worse inflation problem compared to the States and the salaries on average are even lower than the US.

@@philipf8774 My parents are from Europe and my entire family is in Europe so I went there. Germany is the country I relocated to, but I am mixed. German & Bosnian (my mother is from Bosnia). USA can be good and bad too. No place is perfect, very low wages are in the USA and very low wages in Europe too. I like both places, but, I will say Europeans are not as intelligent as people from the USA. In Europe everyone pretends to be well-educated, but they're not and because of this Europeans are mostly in poverty and unable to educate themselves on how to earn income and become wealthy, its easier to access wealth in Europe but Europeans are lazy and not focused on studying how to create their own business. In the USA, people seek education, build businesses and create investments and aren't arrogant and do not try hard to be better than everyone. Honestly, I wish I could return someday. But my life is here in Europe. I'm lucky to be from the USA, but I am also lucky to be in Europe. Both places are easy. Both places are challenging. Both places are a dream. And both places are a nightmare. You have to get up and take advantage of what's around you and pursue better.

@@richardwildlife88-wj6kl I'm Croatian and also have a lot of family members in Germany (Frankfurt and Cologne areas). I have never been to the US, but I can agree on everything you said. We Europeans are learnt from the young age to get good education and then find a job and work until we retire, we are not taught enough how to start our own businesses or how to manage our money better. I have a feeling that the system is much better in the US if you are starting from the bottom, correct me if I'm wrong. Also Europe bureaucracy is a nightmare, just too many rules and lack of freedom in my opinion.
