St Augustine Florida Walking Tour 2019

St Augustine Florida Walking Tour 2019 Norm and Tina visit St Augustine in Florida Americas oldest city to see the incredible architecture. The city has many historical attractions from the Castillo de San Marcos a National Monument operated by the U.S. Parks Service to the incredible hotel buildings of Henry Flagler.
We stop for a slice of pizza at Pizza Time voted second best pizza in the U.S. by Trip Adviser and it was certainly great pizza and the selection available fantastic.
Our plan was to take one of the trolley trains that tour the town we chose Ripley's Red Train, it was great the driver tour guide was very knowledgeable and we got to see all the important sights to see in town. Which lets us select the areas to go back to after the tour finished and explore on foot.

Florida is beautiful! Nice warm sunny weather, tropical foliage and palm trees, beautiful beaches, white sands and turquoise waters, great food. So much to see and do. South Florida, Miami, the Everglades, the Keys and Key west is a must see.

Hey Norm and Tina!!! Great to see you guys in St. Augustine.. the oldest city in the USA, and cool you got to take a trolley tour.. they are always fun. St. George street looked cool and ancient... lots of old properties turned into shops. Looks like you guys had a nice lunch and the Pizza looked delicious! Florida is a great place to visit. We recently lived there in both Ocala and The Villages, FL for several years. We now live in Arizona. We are originally from California and moved to be close to our family who are still there. Florida is beautiful, has nice beaches and is friendly. Downsides are hurricanes, and severe weather in the late spring and summer.

I hope you took a tour of Flagler College, the dining room is beautiful. (For your next trip) Across the street from the college, the museum is very neat and used to have a pool in the back of the building. It’s now a restaurant. Next to it is the Casa Monica hotel which has a beautiful restaurant . You did a great job showing our lovely city!

The Americas always say they have not much history but it was good to see some of the things do have and some great buildings as well as history there. Hi Allen, Yep some great pizza on this side of the pond, this store had deep dish, thin crust and regular all by the slice. Maybe six gallons of fountain of youth would have you young enough to cope!! Lol There is some great historical buildings in North and South America, mainly from the "age of discovery" era, 1700's and onward. Technically St Augustine is the second oldest city in the USA. Pensacola is a few years older, but pirates didn't really keep records very well ;)
