Some buddies and I started a City of God reading group - we'll take twelve months to read the 900 pages of Augustine's huge tome, then meet four times during the year for an hour of discussion, (everyone gets to read their favorite quotes) and a second hour of cocktails and good food. Give it a try people! It's a long slog, but very worth it!
