I'm also a Catholic. We respect the statue of saints. That doesn't mean we have to do all these things. This is indirectly leading to idolatry. St George pray for us Praise the Lord. Jesus bless you all🙏

ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഭക്തർക്ക് അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ നല്കുന്ന മഹാ വിശുദ്ധനായ പരിശുദ്ധ . ഗീവർഗീസ് സഹദായുടെ ( St . George ) ഇടപ്പള്ളി പുണ്യാളച്ചന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ രൂപം എടുക്കുന്നതും സ്വർണ്ണാഭരണങ്ങൾ ചാർത്തി രൂപക്കുട്ടിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നതും കാണാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞത് ഭാഗ്യമായി കാണുന്നു .

പുണ്യാളനും സ്വർണ്ണ മാല കിട്ടി, കുതിരക്കും കിട്ടി സ്വർണ്ണ മാല. നിങ്ങളാരെങ്കിലും പാവം പാമ്പിനെ ഓർത്തോ?? ഇത് കടുത്ത അനീതി ആണ്. ഒന്നാം പ്രമാണ ലംഘനം തീരെ ഇല്ല കേട്ടോ.....

GREAT things. This church is one of the Major Church in Syro Malabar Sabha. But no symbol related to St Thomas Apostole. This you please correct. St George is a saint from Isreal. Their now his place under the control of Greek Orthodox. So Cathlic Sabha do not know much about it. It was in the rule of Eastern Kaldaya Bishop's that this Church was established at Edappally. And St George's Roopam related to such rule. For any reason we not have any other comments on your church festivel and join fully with you and your adoration and we all are in proud of your great procession in the festivel. You also belongs to Syro Malabar Sabha. The church very big. Our humble request at any of the inside place of church please put a St Thomas Roopam and a small symbol of St Thomas Cross. Our church only enrich with it. All blessings of St Thomas you get. Please consider this humble request. Our St Thomas Apostole died not in a bed with roses but with the bit of Kuntham and without food at Mylapoor. Please respect the Apostle. Our humble prayer and request we submit for your attention. Because it was from this church that a protest to Mar Joseph Powethil of Emiratous Arch Bishop Changanacherry Started. We not mention about your mind set of that period. It is true some families from Edappally migrated to our place and now they again settled in Edappally on business reasons. So you can consider our humble request on a positive sense. God bless you. We pray to St George of Edappally for saving also us from snakes and such other wild beasts. The great church has no Sathanic attack so far. When our Apostle St Thomas come there, you are strengthened alone. Pleasecare our prayer request.
