Was honored to have my Zephyr on the show. First time to St. Ignace, great place for a car show, met many friendly people, had a wonderful time!

What a stunning car! It must be a thrill to take it out to drive and especially to show it. Its profile is unforgettable, and the details of it's fit and finish, inside and out, are super fine. I love that car!
@paulstandeven85724 жыл бұрын
I really appreciate the way you looked at the car and 'corrected' mistakes in the design - like the vertical bars in the radiator grill, smoothing out the headlamps,, and extending the rear mudguards. That feature really makes the car. Well done!

Great to see the MG marque is being kept alive in the States, our biggest market for British sports cars when I worked at MG, Abingdon, the true home of the MG. Love what the guy has done to the GT. The B and the GT needed a bigger more powerful engine but they wasn't going to happen with Lord Stokes running British Layland.

Krykies! Michigan has so many great events and car shows it boggles the mind lol. In fact the entire upper Midwest has it goin on lol. Another great episode and have to say I love MG’s and sleeper cars lol. I grew up at a time when people were still driving the cars they had bought a few years earlier and we always called them “Land Yachts” they were so big lol. I have great memories of my mom’s 69’ Mercury Montego with the massive engine lol

Man, i wish these video`s were longer. I`m hoping and praying i can build my 2003, S-10 some day soon. I love American Muscle Cars. It`s who we are,,,,,, I used to have a 1969 Ranchero, with a built 351 Windsor i built myself. It was the 1st car i bought at age 16 in 1982, and i kept it up until 2004 then i got sick and had to sell it. I miss that ole car.

I designed a custom interior for a converted Rubber Bump GT to a pre 73 Roadster many years ago. The guy shoe horned in the awesome 3.5 litre Rover V8 (used in Police Pursuit cars) cut the injectors down, leaving a slight bulge as not to ruin the look of the original car. He bottled it (got scarred for you Americans) at 160 Mph. On the way to the work shop he was blown off by a Volvo T5.... he not only caught it, but blasted passed it... It's the only MGB to my knowledge painted in true "BENTLY" racing green, somehow he got the paint codes from Rolls Royce.

People vote with their dollar. Of course, this means that people hold on to what good cars they have, so manufacturers simply stop building cars altogether. Rather than innovate, and try to regain interest, "oh well, what IS selling? Trucks and SUVs? Ok, let's just make ours as close looking as our competition. Play it safe. Don't try for a home run, just get on base."
