Well there’s a big big sound, from the West side of town, it’s the sound of the MIGHTY GIANTS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 That was a dominant display. They’ve created a record for the most wins at different venues in a season. Whole team was excellent, but special shout-out to Josh Kelly, Tom Green, Lachie Ash and Connor Idun. Big Briggsy was huge too.

Wowee what a game! The giants made the saints pay all game with their impressive turnover run. Contested possession was always followed by an on run wave of orange for the overlap which lead to the majority of GWS' score. At the end of the day there was only one team here that wanted to stay in contention for the flag and when the game was there to be won, the giants leaders stood up and became a beacon for the rest of the team to look to whereas for the saints they had no leaders stand up in such a crucial game.

St Kilda were poor. Apart from Cooper Sharman, it felt like every Saints player lost their one on one contest in the first half. So many dropped balls and marks. Defenders had a bad day, including their two AA players. Liam Stocker had a big impact when he was subbed on, but Saints never looked like making the required comeback. Giants too strong.
