ST Maarten , Rockland Estate Sky ride and Zip line

So this video starts with a sea day as we set sail for Saint Maarten . After breakfast we did a few laps of the promenade deck then ventured up for a game of crazy golf . After coffees in the atrium we went to Brodies for the quiz and a drink .
After lunch we went to the main theatre to see a version of Deal or no Deal . Then back outside to find ourselves an infinity whirlpool to relax in .
That evening we had dinner in the MDR and again the food and service was fine. Our evening was spent around the ship in different venues listening to various music acts .
On arrival in St Maarten we had breakfast in the Keys , before getting ourselves prepared for our excursion . This was a P&O excursion to the Rockland Estate Sky ride . Unbeknown to us it also had a number of Zip Lines that were to play a major part in our day . This was a great experience and one I would recommend if you were visiting the Island.
On returning to the ship we had time to wave off Norwegian Viva that was berthed alongside us . Before enjoying more food and drink and music aboard Arvia .

Hi Tim , yes they liked to state the obvious. We didn’t know about the Zip line until we were on the chair lift . What a great experience it was , shame they wouldn’t let me take a camera on the zip line . Strange isn’t it , people like to see what’s on the menu , and what you choose for your meal. This trip has sure been a good one. The food, entertainment & services seem to be great. I would like to do a fipline, but that is too high for me. It was interesting seeing the other ships. Pearl, my eyes wouldn't let me see the plane coming in. Closer to summer I am hoping to have cataract surgery. The group was great! Beautiful voices. I'm with Pearl, and wouldn't be too excited about the helicopter ride. I do not like heights. We drove and saw the total eclipse of the sun today. It was worth the hour drive. Absolutely fantastic! Our area in Ohio hasn't had one since the early 1800s, and the next one here is in 2099. I'm so glad you all are having a good time!

Hello Rene , how funny it was the first thing that I was going to ask you . Did you see the Eclipse. I am so glad you got to see it and that it was worth the drive . They don’t come around that often so good for you. I loved the Zip line it was such an exhilarating experience. Don’t worry Rene I don’t think anyone could see the plane, Pearl wasn’t sure how to Zoom in with the camera. Pearls Mum had cataract surgery and it was a great success. . Some very good tips for us never been on arvia only Brittania arcadia.ventura and going on azura in september to Croatia...she looks like a very big ship hopefully we will.like it ....what a happy lady pearl is . It is a large ship , and sea days the decks can get busy if you’re looking for sun beds in the sun . Fine in the shade . It didn’t bother us as Pearl is not one for lying in the sun , plus we had the balcony. We are going back next January, this time on Britannia, this will be our first time on Britannia. Also we are on Azura as well going to Italy Croatia, Montenegro and Corfu . Seems like we have the same taste . Yes Pearl is a very happy person ,she does like a bit of fun .Also she puts up with me 😩. Hopefully you will have a great time on Arvia . Thanks again Alison xx👋

Hi Marc & Kelly , thanks very much for that really kind comment. Makes us really happy when people enjoy our silly vlogs. Yes we are from Essex, is it that obvious.😂 So we don’t bother with the drinks package , as you said there is a lot of ports and also we had quite a bit of onboard spend to use . Also I think the P&O package is a bit limited. When we started doing this you tube stuff we said we will just be ourselves. Some people don’t get it and I’ve had horrible Husband comments 😂😂 but that’s how we are all the time . Thanks again for watching and we really do appreciate those positive comments. It’s good fun with great views. Mini golf is good fun and that’s all free .Honestly the Zip wire was absolutely amazing, one of the best things I have experienced. Hi Susan , err I’m afraid I can’t remember the actual price of the excursion 😩 I don’t think it was too much otherwise we may not have done it . To do the zip line was extra $25 but it was all worth it . X
