P&O Arvia Caribbean Cruise ...Antigua by Helicopter

On arrival in Antigua we were greeted with the sounds of sirens in the background and the crow of nearby Cockerels . After breakfast we did a few laps of the promenade deck before returning to our cabin to prepare for our upcoming trip .
Our trip was the one that I had been looking forward to the most .Antigua by Helicopter . I don't think Pearl felt the same way , as she was a bit nervous . I still had time to watch part of the football before we left .
On arrival at the Helicopter pad we were given a safety brief then given numbers that told us where we would be sitting in the Helicopter .Luckily we would be sitting right at the front ,as its all done on weight distribution .
We had a 26 minute flight that was absolutely brilliant , if you can afford it then it is a must do excursion and it lived up to our expectations . Even Pearl loved the experience .
That evening we rounded off a perfect day with a meal in the Epicurean restaurant .

I have been truly enjoying this trip. You both seem to be much more relaxed, and seem to enjoy what you are getting to do. The helocopter trip was fantastic, and Pearl has eased my apprehensions about doing this. You all got the best seats! I always love seeing what you are eating, and what Pearl will wear to dinner. She always looks beautiful! I hope everything is going well for you both at home. We are having up and down weather. We reached a record high Monday of 85 degrees. Not my kind of weather. We are all fine at home thank you Rene . Just took our Granddaughter back home , we look after her two days a week. I cannot fault Pearl for having a small snifter of rum before the helicopter flight, think I would definitely have had to have another 🤣 there was some amazing views and the water looked stunning, you got a great view over the top of the ship too. Had my Dad and H (Hazel, my Dad’s partner) round for dinner and they watched with us 😂 I said to H that I had never had frogs legs and she said very similar to chicken!
