Thank you so much for highlighting this extraordinary church. I also live in Suffolk, but have not yet had the opportunity to visit , as is so often the case for many of us ! The entire county has a wealth of amazing churches, some areas more than others. Thank heaven they were spared during the time of King Henry’s reformation. Many were not. Hope you continue to travel and enjoy your time here. 🙏🏼❤️

Ooooh! St Mary’s....love the angel roof churches of East Anglia. You’re giving me a hankering to go back.

A really good film highlighting so much that we take for granted over here. Well researched and coherently presented,it deserves a lot more views.

Thank you. I am making these as much for myself as I am other people. I know when we go back to the states, this is the kind of stuff I'll miss.

If you are out walking in the UK, churches are very useful. Given the often cloudy and dismal weather, you can always get a compass bearing from a church as they are aligned East to West - the East end has the altar, the West end the tower.

Nice video Abby, just seems very odd to me as an Englishman who doesn't use metric and having to try and work out the church dimentions in feet, yet posted in metric by an American....☺️

@@americanabby You can measure in feet and inches. People in the UK don't really use metric for everyday measurements
