Lovely video and such beautiful scenery! I admire your calmness and kind personality. May I ask which is the guide book that you are using? I only found guide books in Norwegian and I do not speak the language. I know you referred to it in the first video too but I never got it.

@@NadineWalks Hello again Nadine, It's Allie, we were roommates at the Ahoy hostel Portugal at the start of our Rota Vicentina walk, Thank you for this book link as I was not able to find an english version of this book in stock anywhere. You have inspired me to do this walk next June!!

Hi Allie!! So nice to see your comment and it makes me so happy that you're thinking about this walk for next year! Oh it's so wonderful, I think you'l love it! :)

Nadine, is it just what you are choosing to film or are there really not many serious climbs on this walk?
@NadineWalks2 ай бұрын
On this particular day (which was short!) there weren't many/any climbs... but most days involved some up and down! And some were quite a lot. I may not have captured that well throughout the series- when the path was steep (whether up OR down), I tended to need to focus and didn't take much video. After I finish posting the daily stages I'll put together a Q&A video for the walk, and will address difficulty.

@@NadineWalks Thank you Nadine. We were in Norway in August and only did a couple of short walks because it rained so much. I am contemplating returning next year and trying this trail.x

What a wonderful video! Need to watch more of your content. The beautifully sung piece at the ruins is the Swedish hymn "Sommarpsalm" by Waldemar Åhlen, usually performed in a choral arrangement. Here is a good rendering, suitably from a Norwegian choir: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ap6opZyDm95gqK8
