so i use to live in alabama so the story is. paul the singer is from just outside of Birmingham and grew up in a religious household (Alabama) but his mom liked music from groups like the supremes so he just grew up listening to that music. he thought he wanted to be a preacher when he grew up but in his words the thing he liked about preaching was more the performance aspect of it not the actual job. he was going to school to be an accountant and actually used his pell grant to pay for studio time

He definitely sounds like a mix of Otis Redding and Al Green..... without a doubt! Paul Janeway is simply A BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING. Check out his interviews for his story...... was destined to be a preacher but took a side road, and now he is a very successful entertainer. Great reaction ("Where did this man grow up"), TY.

Thank you so much of reacting to these guys. I've been a fan for a while. I know all music is great Live but if you have to pick one group to go see live this year ... pick them ... cause you will find out Paul Janeway has MORE gears. I have never seen a musician lay it all out the way he does and .... I've been going to concerts since the 70's. Go see them LIVE
